Just checked in late... Rescheduled for Wednesday CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Thunderstorms once again forced NASA to call off the launch of space shuttle Endeavour on Monday, the fifth delay for the space station construction mission. NASA said it would try again Wednesday, after taking a one-day break. In a scene nearly identical to Sunday, launch managers halted the countdown just minutes before Endeavour and seven astronauts were supposed to blast off in the early evening. This time, storms packed with lightning popped up on opposite sides of the launching site, one after the other, close enough to violate NASA's safety rules. |

Sad News from Harrisburg on our Yellow Girl. Reenie took some pictures of her, and saw something was just not right. She forwarded them to the Game Commission, and they said she appeared perfectly normal. Reenie was not satisfied with that answer, and had a Professional Photographer she knows take some shots of her doing food exchanges in mid air from Mom & Lil Dad. She saw the problem, and it is bad. She sent in those pictures, and Yellow Girl is emaciated, and dehydrated, along with missing her lower beak! They said she has no chance of survival since she cannot be caught. We refuse to take this as an answer. |

A friend of mine that lives in Colorado trains rottweilers. She has about 5 rotties so she has her owning training field in her backyard. She shared a couple of pics of the training field on her facebook account and she said that I can share this one with you all. She knows how much I LOVE BAEA! This "box" that the eagle is sitting on is a blind. They are about 10 mls from the Rocky Mt. Bird Observatory and there is a lake there. ![]() OH! And one of her friends made a comment about being afraid to take a puppy out to the field to run and play. SOOOOOOOO...I think you know where I am going with this! I set him straight about BAEA and puppies!

Well, this has been a very SAD day for Paul....his nephew was killed in a fire fight in Afghanastan. He got married a couple of years ago and has little twin baby girls. He left the army then went back. One too many I guess. He's been on the phone all day trying to get as much information as possible. |

Your fishing trip sounds wonderful, Cat. But there's no place like home, huh? Especially a hot shower and a real bed! |

Condolences to Paul. How tragic. Every time I hear some troop member is killed in Afghanistan I dread looking at the name since my best friend's son is there as a Navy seal. He is supposed to have about 32 days left on this current tour of duty there. |
