Well, that's very wierd??? It showed up in the quote and then it showed up before too.

Penny....that's an angry look if I ever saw one. Sorry about the weather. Is this unusual for this time of year? Shiboyan must hate all that weather. Come here....beautiful sunshine everywhere. I think summer finally arrived.

Does this mean the little red x is gone????

using the 60mm micro nikkor which odd as it sounds seems to be my "prime" lens though i have a normal 50mm AFD f1.8 Nikkor lens which on the d bodies equates to what a 75mm would be on my film body F100. (the magnification factor due to the smaller sized frame dimensions of the digitals cause this)

If i were a portrait shooter like my idol , Yousef Karsh of toronto, i would consider the 50mm as a portrait lens for the digitals. When it comes to portraiture KARSH IS THE MAN!!

Jill, a very moving piece.  I cried through the whole thing.  My DH did too.  Thank you so much.

CatM, Kathie, Penny, LaLa, Peetie, Sandie & others-I'm so glad you all are touched by such a tribute to one of our troops. I watched it in two parts, before & after lunch, & cried. A friend in town forwarded that to me today, probably one of the best forwards I've ever gotten. I love our troops. <3

Peetie, rest well.

Jill, DH forwarded that piece to many of his army buddies (Vietnam era). I don't think there is a dry eye left. DH was a burial detail officer after his tour in Nam and the video and music really moved him. Thanks again for sharing it. :Hugs:

JILL - I'm going to wait until this evening to watch the tribute you posted. I can tell from everyone's comments that I can't watch it here at work. :'(

Linda, Quail are my favorite little critters! Robin, Kathie and I saw a family of them in Sycamore. Some teeny and some a little bigger. I love their fun little party hats. Love the bobcat, I've only seen one in the canyon, but it scooted off when it saw us.
