Thanks for the link catM, there are lots to choose from ![]() Sandie I will use the rain water for both indoor and outdoor plants. Will cover it when the rain is gone so no mosquitos get in there to lay eggs. My household water is all going through a filtration system which removes a lot of undesirable elements which my plants seem to miss  Those cars are something !!! |

A story about a 5000 pound shark that washed up on Long Island flashed across my news screen a bit ago. Heard anything about this Deb ?Found it!!! ![]() 5,000 lb shark washed up on Long Island Beach (:39) NEW YORK (CNN) -- A 26-foot-long dying shark washed ashore Tuesday on a Long Island beach, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation said. The male basking shark, which weighed an estimated 5,000 pounds and was measured at 26 feet, 6 inches, died shortly after authorities arrived on the scene, according to marine educator Tracy Marcus of the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Marcus, who was at the beach at the time, said there were no outer abrasions on the shark, ruling out of the possibility of a boat strike, and the cause of the shark's death was unknown to investigators. Basking sharks can grow up to 35 feet in length and are the second-largest fish in the oceans after the whale shark, Marcus said. |

It seems that sharks seem to wash up periodically on NY beaches. If I saw that I would not be going for a swim around there anytime soon ![]() I am still traumatized by 'JAWS' all these many years later

That's a BIG shark! I've never hoked one that big, if I had I think it would have taken me water skiing. Deb, Gary, and Trinity I also love that picture and agree it should be a Christmas Card for the family this year. I picked up Tommy at 8:30 this morning, and just took him back to his Dad's. We had a WONDERFUL time together. He straightened out the Droid I treated myself to for Christmas. He said it needed an attitude adjustment! It wouldn't do anything for me but shake it's head no! I bought one for Tommy, and Robert too and they had no trouble with theirs. BRB I'm going to check out Yellow Girl and see what's new on her. |

Yellow Girl is now going to get the help we were looking to get for her. We swarmed the Television Stations, Newspapers, Game Comission, and Mayor with e-mails! They are going to try to capture her, and there is a Rehab in Minn. who will take her. We all have tears of joy running down our faces now. Persistance is the key. Never give up!

Cricket I always say never give up....yellow girl will be the better for it. good job for helping her. Will they give her a new bill??? What can be done?Penny I guess you have enough water to "help those plants" for a little while. I guess you should use it indoors since the outside seems to have more than enough! Too bad we can't catch water in places that have an abundance and ship it off to places that need it. That is one enormous shark. I NEVER get in the water deep enough for those guys to get near me. |
