I have seen hummers bathing in the bird bath. They also will fly through our gentle sprinkler when it is on. |

We have tons of hummers here. In our yard we see black chinned, broad tailed, rufous and even the calliope (which is only rarely seen in New Mexico). ![]() Calliope .....................................................................................................Rufous Both of these are males. I have trouble telling the females apart sometimes. |

Chiquita, I have never seen them in the bird bath but when I am sprinkling with the hose, they will run back and forth through the water, sometimes stopping to get soaked.... |

The peacocks are losing their beautiful tail feathers... I love looking for them.. some are better than others...it also means they will be less noisey ... they seem to calm down when their feathers are gone.. nothing to scream about I guess... |
