Grr I am ticked off now. Yesterday FedEx left a door tag for a package saying nobody was at home. I was home and they didnt ring my bell at 240

Today i left the doortag signed for them to dump off the package and when i saw the fedex truck going down the block i called them asking where the package was.

They said the driver yesterday marked this as an "abandoned house" and told me that even the signed door tag wasnt accepted because they wanted a personal signature at time of delivery. When i asked them why was the box where a signature was to be left they couldnt answer me. When i asked where is the box that was supposed to be here today then since not yesterday as the door tag stated they said it was still at the terminal.

I told them why the heck was it not delivered yesterday or today as the doortag stated they told me in essence "tough crap". So when i asked when i will get it they told me tomorrow. I told them that was unacceptable since it was supposed to be dropped off yesterday and today and youve already wasted two days of my time. Grrr....

They didnt like it when i pointed out that i had a working doorbell and even rang it for them so they could hear it. CAN WE SAY MORONS?? SURE CAN FEDEX

 that Precious Linda. What an education you are giving us all while you follow the hawklet adventures  Your :clk: :clk: :clk: of Precious are so stunning :D :)^ :)^ :)^

The baby squirrel has gotten his come uppence today from the chickadees. He made a P-I-G of himself yesterday so the flock decided to keep all the rest for themselves. He was a flatlet :D on the corner of the garage roof until s/he thought they were gone....then he would make a mad dash down the wall and just before he leapt onto the feeder, they appeared out of nowhere foiling his opportunity and sending him scurrying around the corner on the ground.

I was upstairs watching from my bedroom window  I hope they continue to do that once in awhile and maybe I can get it on video :P

 Is this because you have a 'wild' yard instead of the 'de riguer' manicured expanse of lawn George? :P

No i am royally ticked off. This is the sort of thing that makes one wonder how many others have they never delivered?? I asked them too how do they know whats in the box and they said they dont ask what the contents are. So i then asked "how do you know this box is not perishable?" They then said "it wouls say so on the box." I then inquired "why would it if you dont ask? For all you know it might be a box of hand grenades"

I hate dealing with morons when they screw up, its not rocket science to ring a doorbell after all. why should i be forced to wait around for 3 days for somehting that should have been done right the first time or even the second time. Grrr

George this isn't good for your blood pressure.

Was it a new piece of camera equipment? In any case, unless you can get yourself over to the Fed Ex Depot to pick it up you'll just have to wait until Monday. :(

Don't sweat the small stuff :ok: and by the way your last image is not loading fully on the page here so I can't see the falconette

"Zoo's panda matriarch maybe pregnant again" reads the headline in our S.D. Union this morning. Bia Yun's fifth cub would arrive later this summer.

Alas no it isnt camera equipment but medical supplies that i need now not tomorrow. I could go to the fedex hub but it is not exactly in the safest part of philly. Also it should not be my responsibility to pick something up that if done properly would have been delivered yesterday or today at the latest. Why should i have to do their job for them?

Had it been camera gear, as much as i am a cameraholic, i would not have been as ticked off as i am today :BX:

George did you happen to say "may I please speak to your supervisor"????? I love doing that. They know you mean business. Or call the people that sent it and inquire why you are having this problem. Med's are not something that should be delayed. It makes me furious for you.

Lala fun pic's today of precious. Kathie I have thought the same thing. I no longer look at "road kill" in the same way!!! :D

I just talked to Paul and Eric....his nephew will be flown to AZ in the next day or so. He died of a stomach wound. Now his wife will have 30 days to move out of base housing and into somewhere else. This was his 4th tour over there. They are not allowed to go to see the remains until he comes to AZ. They could only view the casket as it came off the plane. That's a lot to deal with for a new wife with twins to have to move and bury your spouse. But I guess the Army comes in and does the packing etc for her and moves her. Such a shame.

Oh you bet i spoke to a supervisor. More than one and i didnt ask the second or third time. They were about as effective as viagra is for a enuch. I had to go to the corporate hq to speak to somebody who was at least competant to finally get them to gaurantee that i would have them first thing tomorrow morning.

I really get irrated when a supervisor tells you that they are the only one there. Despite being asked repeatedly who thier immeadiate superior is, they wont tell you nor give you the name to contact. I snap back, "well how do they know you are actually working and not sitting there with the dancing girls and keg of beer?"

My level of irritation only goes up with each new call to a company. I really get ticked off that they hang up on you if you use "naughty words" and say a standard scripted retort "If refuse to talk to me in a professional business manner i will have to disconnect this call". I normally say, "well , had you or your associates had handled this professionally the first second time I called , then you may warrant my being professional. Since youve not been professional in handling this, you have alot of nerve to even expect it from me."

Sorry but i do not feel that i have to KTA of some flunkie and speak the kings english when they or thier assoicates could not understand it the first or second time. I will give them the benefit of the doubt the first few times but after that, it becomes open war.
