That's too bad for the scout Deb. I'm battling a nasty sinus infection and massive headache myself. Poor kid, such a dissapointment. :(

Happy Friday to all of you!

Linda - On my way home from work last night I passed a dead squirrel lying by the side of the road and had to fight myself from pulling over to snag it for you to add to your Precious pantry! rofl

rofl rofl rofl

Well, where the heck is it....???? I'm going to have one heck of a time this afternoon explaining to my baby that his 'Aunt Iggle' was too embarrassed to stop and snag his dinner....I always pray that the critter is not on a curve in the road (I would let it go.. don't need to get killed playing this game)... or that I don't get caught scooping... rofl rofl Thanks anyway Kathie for thinking of us... <3

I got a response from the E.P. re: Yellow. They claim the Game Comission is planning a live capture of her, and having her x-rayed, and eye checked. They state there is an injury to her eye too. I'll have to look again.

How frustrating, George.

No i am royally ticked off. This is the sort of thing that makes one wonder how many others have they never delivered?? I asked them too how do they know whats in the box and they said they dont ask what the contents are. So i then asked "how do you know this box is not perishable?" They then said "it wouls say so on the box." I then inquired "why would it if you dont ask? For all you know it might be a box of hand grenades"

I hate dealing with morons when they screw up, its not rocket science to ring a doorbell after all. why should i be forced to wait around for 3 days for somehting that should have been done right the first time or even the second time. Grrr

George, these drivers are always in a mad rush to get out of there.. My UPS driver will drop off a box and ring the bell.. by the time I open the door, he is driving down the road and out of sight... They must be on a time clock all day long.. I know if you track a package, it tells you what time it was left on your porch...

George this isn't good for your blood pressure.

Was it a new piece of camera equipment?  In any case, unless you can get yourself over to the Fed Ex Depot to pick it up you'll just have to wait until Monday.  :(

Alas no it isnt camera equipment but medical supplies that i need now not tomorrow. I could go to the fedex hub but it is not exactly in the safest part of philly. Also it should not be my responsibility to pick something up that if done properly would have been delivered yesterday or today at the latest. Why should i have to do their job for them?

Had it been camera gear, as much as i am a cameraholic, i would not have been as ticked off as i am today :BX:

Seems to me if you mentioned it was medicine that you need right now... they would bring it over immediately!!!... and medicine implies you are not well enough to travel to them to pick it up.... Man.. I'm mad now too... I think another call to someone is in order....

Be careful what you ask for, Linda. Next time I see you I may have a cooler full of squirrel-sicles in the back seat....

The truth is.. I was only tossing this stuff to Precious when I sincerely thought he wasn't being fed.. and had not seen the mother for days... crying non-stop all day... now, mom is around and he feels good enough to play leaf and berry tag with the trees and only peeps a little... I really don't like messing with nature.. being hungry is incentive for him to hunt... so.. I don't pick up the stuff on the road anymore.... :<:: but I get a little 'itchy food on the brake' when I pass it on the road....
