Hi all

we got up mighty early to get the crew to the airport this morning for their flight to New Mexicto to begin their couple days of fun and getting used to the altitude (we live at sea level here of course!) - as you may have seen yesterday, one of the kids became ill yesterday and had to cancel out of the trip :'( - we all felt so bad about it......

too hectic to get any photos before going thru security so ES promised to take some inside and along the way and until they arrive - here's a couple awful ones with the cell phone - guess he should have practiced! :<:: :clk:

Good morning, all. Looks like another nice day here. I hope it is where you are too.

Deb, I know ES and his crew will have a wonderful time in the Land of Enchantment. 55F and partly cloudy at Philmont. Going up to 86F, with the usual chance of showers this afternoon. Humidity will be in the 20% range - a typical July day. Long range forecast: more of the same. (It will be hotter here in Albuquerque, but rest of forecast is the same.) :D

TOSS AWAY YOUR COULD HAVES AND SHOULD HAVES DAY
(Annually the third Saturday in July)

Why not use this day to toss your regrets away?

On this day, everyone will list their “could haves” and “should haves” on paper, and toss the list in the trash. They will make the resolution: “From this day forward, I choose not to live in the past, for the past is history that I can’t change. I can do something, though, about the present; therefore, I choose to live in the present.”

Many people procrastinate about getting organized because they focus a bit too much on the past. We call it the could-a-would-a effect. Take this day and let go!

BLACKWATER OSPREYS......Posted Image

It's getting more difficult every day to capture the eaglets in their nests as most of them have
fledged or have found branches that are out of camera range. Some cameras are
also not operational.

Thanks for going to all the trouble doing Eagleland each and every day Carole :><: :><: :><:

Bandit still has the plastic bag decor on his nest :o It's all Dad's fault, doesn't he know that plastic bags are 'Not a Toy' and are dangerous around babies

Deb - ES and the scouts look like one very happy troop, what a great adventure they have ahead of them. Good to know that Phil is feeling better. :P

Penny - Thanks, and right back at you for all your contributions to the forum. Delta Dad isn't too swift, he'll bring anything into the nest but thank goodness Bandit is smarter and hasn't tried to eat the plastic bag, he must have his mother's genes.

Keep the photos coming, it's the only vacation I'm going to get this summer...

Penny, Cool video.
There are a few mountain bikers who carry their dogs like that. But their dogs are smaller. :P

Saanich-Tiny was told that it is low tide at the nest so he flew back from the old one
and is waiting for a >>: delivery from Mom or Dad.
