Good morning, all. Yet another reason this will be a good day: National Ice Cream Day 3rd Sunday in July When you get the urge for a snack on a hot, humid summer night, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? That's right....Ice Cream! Therefore, it's only fitting that ice cream be given it's own special day. On this day, we hope you enjoy an ice cream cone, a sundae, or a milk shake. Set the diet aside and splurge a little...have one of each! In 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed July as National Ice Cream Month. He also established National Ice Cream Day as the third Sunday in the month. ![]() |

Good Morning friends. Today is National Raspberry Cake Day. I have to have some of that. It sounds so good. Maria called me and lost her voice this morning. John John has Ear Infections. She had him at Pediactrics After Hours last night. Probably from being in Day Care since she finally got a job. |

Hi Gang~ At 7:30 a.m. at the Starr Ranch Hummingbird cam, Pete is going to hold up a mirror to see in the nest. To see how many eggs she is sitting on. If anyone is here, or interested.... http://www.starrranch.org/blog/?page_id=23 Screen shots are always good.... I'll miss it. Hint hint!

Poor Bandit is still waiting for a parent to bring him something, anything to eat. He's only had a small rodent (mouse)? since the evening of the 17th. I don't recall Ma or Pa Sidney not feeding any of their 3 before fledging and Bandit still has at least 2 weeks to go They did the same thing last year to Dan and Dawn and I really think that if they don't come by today with a feast that maybe something has happened to them Dan was really not in good shape when he was rescued by Bev at OWL because he hadn't been given enough to eat, so it was a good thing he accidentally slid off that nest IMHO
