MY-T-FINE roses there!!!! Very effective use of depth of field too in the red rose shot! This sort of shot i would use the Apeture Automatic mode to get the desired "look" The "Spray bottle trick" is a very usefull tool used by alot of professional shooters. Some shots the water droplets can make a more "Generic" shot just pop out at the viewer and grab them into the shot. If well used it can be very very effective

The pink 'roses' are actually ivy geranium.. the blooms 1/2 inch... I used the opened blooms as background color... Micro 105mm... I started out by taking a picture of my morning glory that had been in the sprinkler.. then, got my mister bottle and couldn't stop... took a picture of every flower on the property!!! ![]() White rose is 'Iceberg' |

beautiful photos linda ... love the water drops![]() a cactus at bandelier (see the holes in the rock face) the crew taking a break along the bandelier trail ![]() for some reason Phil Jr would not fly up to the next level - an eagle no less ![]() and he climbed back down ....hmmmm ![]() but he was all about the break and MORE JUNK FOOD - oh my gosh ![]() |
