we know that geese fly in a "V" to cut the wind drag .....

Jill I love the pic's and music.....favulous

Harpo....hope they aren't crossing the RR.....knew about the V but did not know about the single file. Very interesting how nature teaches us!!! Is that near you somewhere Deb? I think you said it was on your lunch hour.... I used to get a carfull...yes I said car full of bread to distribute to the homeless etc when working in Thousand Oaks every week. With the leftovers I would take to Westlake lake. Those geese saw me coming up on the main street and came honking and running to my car. They even nipped me on the heels if I didn't get that bread out to them right away. :D

I thought so too Cat. What are the odds??

Geting a car load of bread reminds me of our very generous produce manager. Every week when DH does the grocery shopping, the produce manager gives us tons of fruits and veggies that cannot be sold any longer. Some we give to a friend who has rabbits; some we give to the birds in our back yard. I think they all know when it is going to be “fruit day”. The robins and scrub jays, especially, line up for the fruit. All the birds love the variety. It is fun to watch each of them find the exact one they want.

Sandie, the odds must be astronomical, especially since the last name is fairly unusual!
