You might want to do some shopping of your own Harpo.. Christmas 5 months away... :<:: :<:: :<::

That made me look for Philmont gift shop in NM Linda & I found scoutstuff (an organization) that has lots of Eagle stuff! :P

I just revisited some links on the computer, and found wildlife wonders.

<::: <::: Update from Hancock Forum member, Boonibarb.........thank you!

Okay, everyone!
About 6:30 this morning i left home because Hope was on the wide angle camera & i wanted to photograph her there in the lovely light of the sunrise.
On my way to work.
Theoretically.
i haven*t been to work yet.
Hope was on the wide angle camera!
Pa, i think, was in the Babysitting Tree.
Ma, i think, was in the Peters*s Tree.
i photographed & video*d for a while, & lucked out that i was in the middle of a video when Hope left the camera & disappeared into the backside of the nest!
So i went tearing off to the backside of the nest, & found her in a tree the nest.
She was there for quite a while, totally content.
Then she left there & disappeared again!
i went down to the beach & spotted her in another tree, near the first one, & still near the nest.
She was there a short while, then disappeared into the trees of the backside of the nest again.
i went roaring over to that side of the nest, & the neighbours pointed out the tree that she was now in.
i photographed her there a bit, then ran home to upload my fotos & to re-charge my battery & to let you all know that she is doing fine!
Now i want to head out there again.

As soon as she posts photos, I will snag and post them here.

Wanted you to see the three chicks now... they are finally spending night and day in the pen.. they were sleeping in the kitchen in a box at night.. so I peeked out with the flashlight on their first night and they were cuddled up next to the bantum rooster who happens to be their father... they all have his crazy neck hair... and when I bought him as a young little thing, I thought he was a hen and named him Elizabeth... and one day my nephew Willie was here visiting and told me that Elizabeth was crowing... and I if it really was a rooster, would I name him Willie???
So Willie it is!! and Willie is a dad now... how do little chicks know to spend their first night with a parent ???? mother hens could care less...
