Ok, found later news since that came out and it says that the second baby does not seem to be growing so it may be reabsorbed and then Bai Yun will only have the one baby. But that is ok, too :) Pandas have a very hard time taking care of just one baby. As we saw with Squish its a lot of work for the mama. Baby is expected the beginning of Aug.

Thanks for that link, too, Karen. Jeff Zevely, the reporter, used to be a reporter here in ABQ! I had forgotten all about him.

Dinner was great and they both now love Sushi and Sashimi! Ken, Paul Anne, and I all had Sake. I am so stuffed.

Hope Deb comes back tomorrow. I miss her interesting articles on Eagles.

Friday is the last day I will be doing the It's National ____ Day. I do not have the listing for the month of August, and Deb does it better then I can.

LaLa love the Butterflies. Sure wish I saw more around here, but I'd have to plant a Butterfly Garden to attract them.

I miss Peetie here too. :'(

Got lots of rain again today.

Well I'm going to pack it in for the night and try to get a really good nights sleep tonight.

Bandit finally got his first meal in 4 days :**: :><: :><: :**:

He is chowing down right now...don't know which parent brought it but it looks BIG.

Whatever it is, he is leaving it alone now after only eating for a short time

It seems that only after Bandit started making a lot more calls tonight did one of his parents bring him some prey. He has been the quietest eaglet by far of any I have watched.
Maybe if he was more of a screecher like Tiny or Hope they would have brought him some food earlier :P

Check out these pictures.... there are 7 pages, the last few with the horses swimming and running are incredible. Click on them to enlarge, then hit back, to the photo page.

Some pics are of my friend Scott's friend's wife and his kids. Taken off of Padero Lane in Summerland/Montecito, these are Polo horses, the trainer was getting them use to swimming with kids on their backs.... What an incredible adventure...
