Today is National Cheesecake Day! YUM! One of my very favorite desert's with or without toppings. Thanks for the pictures Laurie. I can't do those. Now I really want some!

Oh Peetie you are being summoned here.

Vina Get Well soon. You are missed here in Chat.

I didn't think those grey horses were anything like a Lipizzaner. Just horses that of which two were grey.

Deb you are missed here too. Hurry back to us.

Good Morning...Hope all is well with everyone today!!!

Ummmm that cheesecake looks scrumptious, as my mom would say!!!!! :Yum:

Here is a link to hear an eaglet from BC called Bandit. They say they have only heard this family make it. It's like a quacking sound as if he is warning the birds nearby....my thoughts only. It's so cute. I hope the link works......

http://www.zaplive.tv/web/hwf-owl1?streamI...l1.flv&start=21

The picture above is of the eaglet that is making the noise. He was not fed for almost 4 days and finally last night a 8:00 a parent brought food!! Phewww!

Good morning everyone :}^

Cat - I love cheesecake. The best one I ever ate was one that Deb/Harpo brought to our Easties gathering in NY. :Yum: I had 2 pieces that night and finished off the last of it for breakfast the following morning. :P

Well, it is official...we just narrowly escaped being named the summer's weather misery capital of Canada

The last time we had warmer than normal temps here was in November of 2008

You know the weather is truly  when Canada's king of climatology suggest Manitobans should head for the Artic if they want to work on their tans. Whitehorse had temps in the 90's which put the northern capital on a par with Miami and parts of Spain :o

It is only 55F here right now and starting to :rn: again :'(
