Artsy, enjoy your "summer". Sounds like you'll beable to get your outdoor renovations completed this week.

Looks like rain for us most of the week, but Thursday and Friday look like the best two days of the week. Sunshine and 80s. :D

gonna have to take a few moments and catch up on Sat/Sun - we were caching on Sat - then took MIL out for birthday dinner - hung out yesterday trying to get house back in order after all the scout camping :) and then out to dinner with MIL for another birthday dinner (BIL couldn't go Sat so.... repeat performance) I'm full - won't need to eat for a couple days now.

Supposed to be super HOT here today tomorrow -- eegads - I hate heat!

Jossy is taking dance? How cool - well we will be expecting updates for sure! Hope she has lots of fun!

George - sorry to hear about the parking incident - some guy at a next door house party, pulled into my BIL's driveway and just parked his car there! Then he got all #*@( when my BIL came home and asked them to move! Can you believe it! We had to call the police on a tenant across the street who blocked our driveway all the time. We asked nicely several times and then forget - "hello police"! She wouldn't answer the door when they came and after they left - she came out and went off about the ticket! OH WELL - they were trying to give her a chance to move her car and she wouldn't come out - LOL - sucks to be her!

speaking of driveways - there was an emergency call for the lady across the street yesterday - and the emt responders and Fire Dept folks used the end of driveways and driveways to get parked to get in to help her!

marti - upside down garden - just seems funny :)

yes that was crazy but at a point I just HAD TO GET that cache - I was hanging on to everything I could reach and stretching - streeeeeeeetching......

Vina glad to hear you are improving each and every day! what a fella you have there looking after ya.....
stay strong

Oh Linda just saw about the party at your house - I agree with Barb - you need a bouncer! I'll send Trinity right over LOL oh that's right Scout I'm sure can handle it!

It's really quiet here at work too - the parking lot is really MT - the road coming to work are quiet...... folks getting in those last holidays before kids head back to school in couple weeks! and summer begins to wind down.....:( although that means snow is just around the corner :)

:flk: :flk: :o Harpo, that's a four letter word. ;)

Eaglets are gone. . . Cruzers are MIA. . . . Yes quiet here at my work place too. The days seem so long. However faculty will be back in two weeks and students in three. So things will get back to normal.

Summer seems like it was so short this year. I'm thinking of taking a couple more days off from work myself. Still want to get a "good" long weekend at camp.

Love the swan picture. The white of the swans against the blue blue water is spectacular. :ok:

Hummer attacks Azalea :o

From Duane at NBG on Sunday:

"Apparently the adult Eagles enlisted the help of a Hummingbird to drive Azalea away from the
nest...she's getting too comfortable around the area so it seems. I had my eye to the viewfinder
watching Azalea lounge on her perch. Out of nowhere a Hummingbird hit her square in the back
and it scared her so much that she almost fell off the branch :P

Her initial reaction to the attack.
Posted Image

Trying to figure out what just happened.
Posted Image

Voicing her displeasure at the killer Hummingbird....where ever it went."
