Sending Karen a whole bunch of hugs across the miles today. I'm keeping you in my heart today Karen.

DH and I took a quick boat ride up to camp last night. DH wanted to mow the lawn and we needed to take an inventory to see what we will need for the weekend. We're heading up the lake first thing tomorrow morning. It's suppose to be the hottest weekend we've had all summer high 80's - 90s. It will be the perfect place to be. :D

Great update this week. :)^

Oh yes. Topa Topa must be so excited today. :Hugs: :Hugs:

Thank You all so much for all your kind thoughts and words of sympathy for our loss of our sweet dog Buddy. He went to the rainbow bridge peacefully yesterday evening as the sun was setting on the horizon resting in one of his favorite spots at our home. Our vet came to our house so that we didn't have to scare, hurt or upset him by taking him to her office. I miss him so much already.

I comfort myself by hoping he and my MIL found each other for a joyous reunion. My wonderful MIL rescued him when he was a puppy. HIs first owners abandoned him at one of my inlaws rental properties. The people moved and just left him in the back yard. After a week of trekking over there to feed and make sure he had water, my MIL brought him home and loved him so much for the next 8 years. Buddy was devoted to her, never wanting to be far from her side. When she and my FIL both passed away within 6 months of each other back in 2003, Buddy became ours and it has been my mission to love and take care of him for her and of course he stole my heart too along the way.

RIP Buddy <3 :candle: :^^^:

What a wonderful story about Buddy - so glad your MIL rescued him and look at what all he gave back to all of you .... I'm sure he's with her again..... <3 :^^^: :candle:

it's really cloudy here today - isn't looking promising for any sun! boss was supposed to play golf - darn - probably won't now .... :'( that means he'll be here soon .......

many folks drive ES crazy asking when they will start work on Tower 1 but indeed that began a long time ago! it's been all below grade work / foundation but they have now begun installing the steel columns so it will be more visual for the worls to see it's progress!

Deb - Glad you enjoyed the Bandit update, he is one handsome eaglet. <3

Wow - the steel beams are enormous, great article on the Tower. When we were in NY and caught in traffic on 1st avenue (I think), I hopped out of the car and peeked down into the building site, so much going on.
