Hot Hot Hot here in the east ..... hope you all had a super weekend and if you're a bit under the weather or having some moments in your life .... I'm a day or so behind but will get caught up! spent our weekend wandering the island and doing some caching! us time |

the nests are growing quieter and quieter as the juvies begin to travel further out and about the island. they will visit and hook up with the other youngsters around the area - some eventually may fly to the mainland to begin their "juvie wanderings" for the next several years! may each journey be safe and hoping for their return one day to build their own nests here on the Channel Islands

Good Morning! Deb it looks as though you had a lot of fun caching this weekend. I stayed inside in the A/C the majority of the time. Heat is unbearable. Hope you don't get Poison Ivy. That poor little bird trying to cool off in the heat, and in only a drop of water! How sad. |

Deb - is that a dead bird on the sidewalk?? PS - OH now I read the caption it's trying to bathe on the wet pavement! Whew!!! ![]() Carlea - really nice pictures yesterday of your trip! Lala - nice pictures of the festival/parade. I have missed your pictures since I haven't been online much - they are always a treat! It is going to be mid-90s here again today and tomorrow. It will be a swimming day for sure!!
