George loved the story of Bathing A Cat. How true, been there done that. Sandie if one person came and bought something you did ok. Years ago I was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and I had my BIG Sale every Black Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My final year in the Business no one showed up! I advertised, called and confirmed, has Door Prizes, bought Pies, cakes, and candy so they could nibble as they shopped. I had four rooms set up with different product in each one. They were Professionally decorated as we had been taught. I had beautiful Gift Baskets and samples ready. Played Christmas Music in each room. Even a FREE Manicure Station. Anyone who attended saved money. The one year I did very well $2,000.00! Made up a little Jingle to the tune of Jingle Bells. Don't know what happened, but when you start loosing money in a Business it's time to get out of it, and that's exactly what I did. I ended up getting stuck with well over 17,000 worth of merchandise. I have it away to Battered Women's Shelter's, and various Churches, since the Company re-nigged on the Policy they would buy it back if under 1 y/o. So I tried to give it away in the Office. You know people would not take it FREE! |

Cricket do they still sell that? My mother tried to get me to do that and I said no way. I used it on my skin once and it broke out. Avon seems to have continued without any problem. Did you ever get the pink cadillac??? Deb you are no longer allowed to leave your house without in hand. I wanted to see . My friend had to cancel her trip to Alaska. First her daughter was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and she was supposed to go with her. Then there was a mix up with the fare and on and on and on. I told her she just was not supposed to go to Alaska. So we are going instead to the Getty in Los Angeles and a new museum. Madame Trousand???? sp????? It's a wax museum and she has one in France. This one they built a building for but the others she has she remodeled buildings. The one in LA is three stories tall. Guess we will go next month. It should be fun. |

OOOPPPSSS I think I goofed. I said France...you're right it is in London. Didn't know there was one in NY. I'm excited to go. There used to be a wax museum in Buena Park but I don't think it was very good if I remember at all. |

Deb - Nice photos, that surf looks really rough. I went to Madame Tussauds in London many years ago and it was a fun time. DH took pics of me standing next to lots of important people, we had a good laugh.
