I'm going to slice some tomatoes, and put Basil on them, with a touch of salt & pepper, and naturally Olive Oil. Be right back! Just picked the tomatoes and Basil. |

Boy that was good. It will tide me over till Ken is ready to go out. I've made some for him in the past too, but he wants to go out to eat. I'm not going to argue anymore about that. |

Thank you all for your well wishes on our impending move.
George your 'There'll Always be an England' made me smile which is a challenge lately. This move feels like separating Siamese twins. I'm nearly equally divided and being torn in half; either way it's going to be hard, but after years of considering it, and Ed's health as it is, it seems the only thing to do now. Penny thanks for the wonderful Raven link. They are so clever! The whole corvid family is and I love them all, but especially Crows. And as if we needed another ball to juggle, we had yet another Pigeon in need of rescuing cross our paths this week and three days were consumed searching for a rescue place that would accept Pigeons, and not be one of the ones that feeds the smaller Birds brought to them to their Raptors. The L.A. Times just ran an article on a SoCal place that does just that. I finally connected with a Dove and Pigeon rescuer that happily took the little grey baby, and will raise and release him with the others he's rehabbing. Nice to have a happy ending once in a while. |
