Company coming for dinner...sliced cantalope, coleslaw and Summer Harvest Linguine which consists of onion, eggplant, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, bell pepper, tomato paste, olives, zucchini, parsley, wine and herbs...cook all that in the electric skillet and at the end put in cooked linguine...mix it up and, viola, dinner!!!!

Chiquita, that sounds like a lovely dinner.. one I could use for the left overs... garden is still spitting out some tomatoes.. over two months now of non stop tomatoes and still some green ones yet to ripen... the plants look dreadful...I also have a volunteer pumpkin/squash... I didn't plant it, so it could be anything... I trained it up and over the tomatoes so the bunnies couldn't get it.. its 3 inches now and I can't wait to see what it becomes.... :X:

This is disgusting, and makes me want to hurl!

I refuse to watch any Eagles Game until he is off the Team. Personally I hope they loose every one!

At this point I'm ashamed to be called a Native Philadelphian.

Well i am not listening to the Eagles game but while i do not condone his previous behavior he has served his time so to speak. (personally it wasnt long enough for me) Given the primary function of the NFL is to make $$$$ they have the right to hire , or not hire whomever they wish. Just as we have the right to support or not support, attend or not attend or view the games of any team we take offense of.

I do find it sort of hypocritical to want to barr Vick from playing yet allow former drug addicts, drunk drivers, wife abusers and other convicted felons to play for the NFL franchises.

I was sort of irriatated that some members of a minority group that starts with NAA.. was playing the "R" card calling those who want to forbid him from playing racist. The crime itself was horrendous and heinous. Whether the perpetrator was black white or plaid should make no difference to most folks with any sence of decency.

In any event, given the tolerance by the NFL of other money makers feaux pas, he did do his time and deserves the ability to play if a team wants him on thier roster just as much as the drunk, the wife beater or the others with a criminal record. HOWEVER...if he does misbehave again, BAN HIM FOR LIFE.

:BX:

The real "fun" will be when he shows up on the field for his first "Real game" in each city they play in this season. The boos should be flying faster than our eagles do on Cruz :X:

Note i am not nor have i ever been a football fan! the idea of getting squished into the turf as a scrawny kid by folks 3x or more my size never really appealed to me. Given that I dont run that fast, I likely would not have survived the first series of plays if i tried to play football

Today was really tough. Had to stay inside ALL DAY and as Cumbrian would say "Whilst" the sun was shinning. OMG it could not be more gorgeous out there. The sun is casting that spotlight effect on the ocean with a bunch of cirrus clouds. I didn't even come inside when I got home. Headed directly for the beach. There was this surfer down there and I spoke to him for a second or two. I walked on down the road and he followed me in his truck and looked back at me and asked if I needed a ride......gosh not bad on the eyes either. He told me I looked good. Now that's what you like to hear!!!

I'm going back to chat to read about what everyone has done and will return to the beach for sunset. Looks like a don't miss for tinight.

THE KISS
She is pregnant;

he had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire.
When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte , North Carolina newspaper, noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman.

He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies and kissed him just as the photographer snapped this photograph.

Scroll down for photograph.
