Temp was over 100 here at my house today by 10:30 am and that was in the shade!
I am only about 7 miles from the ocean so it doesn't usually get this hot. I am not sure what the temp was later in the day when its at its hottest. At least it wasn't very humid. That would have been worse. It is still 85 in the shade now at 6:26 pm. When I walked out of our nice A/C classroom to get the kinders, it was like walking into a blast furnace. I know how hot it must be where Jann and Dave are!

I just thougth of the ULTIMATE way to show displeasure about the Eagles signing Vick to their team.

Some of you may remember the New Orleans fans who sat in the stands wearing paper bags over thier heads when they were often derisively known as "The AINTS". The quarterback then if not mistaken was the father of both the Giants and Colts quarterbacks of today, with the name of Archie Manning.

Suppose the anti vick fans who are in the stands were to pull out and place over their heads paper bags printed with a snarling mean looking pitt bull on the front whenever he walked onto the field. This would be a perfect way , other than to not buy a season ticket, to show their displeasure at him. I suspect it could be rather unsettling. Once off the field the fan could then remove it and continue to support the eagles

I could see this happening in stadiums wherever he plays if it took flight

Well as its now 10PM I am gonna go crash and catch some Z's NYTOL :}^

Night George....sleep tight. Grand idea about the paper sack. Too bad the sack couldn't actually bite him!!

The seal carcass was still there tonight when I walked on the beach :(

Karen very nice with the puppy. I understand about walking outside into the blast furnace. But what were you doing out at 1:30 am??? And why was it that hot/??

Well, I guess I ran outta steam. Can't go back down to the beach. Hip is snarling at me :( :'( :( :'( I'll just sit here and study for my test tomorrow. I'm not liking this test thing every week.....yikers. But I did get 85 on my last/first test. Hope I do that good tomorrow. Even if I only get 70 and continue at that they will still call me a phlebotomist at the end of the class

Jann must be suffering a lot with heat like this. Anyone hear anything about the two fires? The skies don't look like a fire going on right now.

Jann's lucky to have A/C and she really needs it where she lives. We don't have it. Never thought it was worth the cost since it doesn't get as hot here for very many days. But we do have it at work so that's good.

Wow Karen I was wondering. Got to be careful to read things right lately since the surgery. Glad I did read it right.

Cricket how was your dinner? It sounded delicious and easy. Good for a hot summer day.

As far as AC is concerned I NEVER want to have to have it. Don't want to live anywhere where it would ever be required.

:*: It was 111° here today. :*: Supposed to be hotter tomorrow. :*:

I never wanted to live where I needed A/C either, but life doesn't always work the way we want it to.
