Good morning Peeps. T.G.I.F. Marti CONGRATULATIONS on your 3300 Postings. WAY TO GO GAL! Some leaves are falling from the trees without turning colors. Must have been that Heat Wave we had a couple of weeks back. Although they are pretty when they change color I don't care at all for what comes after. WINTER! I just love the story, and picture of the Doberman, her pups, and the Fireman. She must have been in pain with the burns on her body. Yet she did not bite, but kissed. I wonder how many people thank the Firemen after they have saved their home. |

Good morning Cruzers. HAPPY FRIDAY to everyone!! It was a cool 37 degrees this morning. Fallish weather for sure. We'll have some pretty colors this year when the leaves turn, some have already begun. This song was playing when I dropped Rayray at football practice and amazingly there was a bald eagle soaring over the high school. It was just the coolest thing to have this song playing while it was soaring. Listen and you'll see what I mean. Hey this would be a good song for the NAC next year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35x_rwyBh-8 Peetie will love this song. |

Ok, i thought i would toss out a tune courtesy of you tube and from the Film "Dont knock the Twist"released in 1962. This group was formed originally at Overbrook, HS which may be known by some of you left coast NBA Laker fans as the school that gave unto you Wilt Chamberlain The lead singer later went on to become a solo artist by the mame of Len Barry THE BRISTOL STOMP-The Dovells |

106 degrees here on the patio yesterday and expect it to be hotter today. I've opened the windows for the cooler morning air and then shut everything up about 9:30AM to keep it somewhat bearable during the afternoon. What an exciting finish to the Little League game last night...our little Chula Vista team pulled off the win in the bottom of the sixth inning...GO WEST!!! Chiquita |

adklaurie...Actually, we had finished dinner and DH snuck away to watch the game while us gals sat around the table to talk...DH would poke his head in and give us a blow by blow accounting of the 6th inning. Finally, I just said, jokingly, of course, "Don't show your face here again until you can come and tell us that Chula Vista has won". Chiquita |

Good Morning Cruzers. My gosh, these Fires are just too much in August! October is notoriously our fire season, but that's all changed with the drought and heat. Wishing you all a wonderful Friday, and great weekend! |

Heard about the fires on the news and the warnings about being outside in the smoke and stuff well looks like danny is just bringing some rain and a little wind - not even sure what we'll get here a bit more west - confusing - very confusing. raining today and then a different front comes thru on Sun with even more rain - oh well! grow grass grow!
