Just had words with this P.C. of mine, and did a little CPR on it too. Ken rushed into the room just as I hurt my fist (nothing bad), and he re-booted the dang thing.

My mouse freezes on an area of the screen each day, and I can't get it moving again. Naturally being a Scorpio I loose my temper, and start hitting it. Sometimes it helps, this time it didn't.

Was up early to open the windows and get the clothes on the line...one thing about a hot day, the clothes dry FAST. We thought it might be a little cooler today but it is not to be...106 already...maybe by Monday, they say now.

Flyby...I had the same problem with my new Mac...not able to get the font larger or add color...I could do it in e-mail but not on the forum. When I have time I'm going to experiment with the directions. Thanks for getting me on the ball with those two things.

Almost ready for the Chula Vista team to play...our best pitcher will be on the mound today but I understand he has developed some kind of shoulder issue...

An ironic set of circumstances has DD, SIL, GD and GS standing on Constitution Ave. waiting for the oncoming motorcade of T. Kennedy...they have been standing for three hours. When making their reservations for D.C. many weeks ago, they had no idea they would end up witnessing a bit of unplanned history. I'm glad my grandchildren have seen a motorcade in D.C. whether it be for a newly sworn in Pres. or for a fallen dignitary.

Yes those motorcades are rather impressive when they move about Washington. When I lived there, I was only a few blocks west of The White House and a few north of the State Department. . Traveling about in DC, you never knew when , where or who you would see some dignitary in their motorcade.

I got in the habbit of carrying my camera on me anytime i was not in class. I was fortunate to have seen the first inauguration of President Reagan. The second inauguration was one i didnt go to because it was too cold. You would be amazed who you would see just by chance even when they were not in thier official capacity. Aside from the Inauguration of Reagan, the other history of note was when i was passing by the Washington Hilton on March 21,1981 the closest we have come to another November 23, 1963. Living in DC was fascinating as you were in the midst of living history.

As it is getting late here and i am tired i am going to call it a night! NYTOL!! :}^ :Zz: :Zz:

Flybymar....good job. You will learn much here. People are always helpful if they are on. I'm not a Mac person so can't help you. But congrats for stepping in here and trying.,

Mina so glad you checked in with us. I forgot you live right alongside where all this is happening. Looks like anohter long fire season huh? You should go buy yourself an "N" mask. That one keeps out the minute stuff that can get in your lungs. Keep us informed.

OK so I am ready set go to Montecito, Santa Barbara and Santa Maria on my usual monthly run. Hope everyhone in the line of fire remains safe and sound.

No A35??? I was thinking of trying to coax him to come home with me. I'm sure Lala and I and many others would be happy to scrape road kill and feed it to you.

Well, Lala and I would!!!

Funny Sandi... Now I pass road kill and don't have to stop.. although I always take a good look at the critter and think.. Wow, that would have been a nice meal... Precious is doing great without me.. still flies around with mom and not making too many peeps anymore..
