Well, I told you guys I called A35. Maybe one of her friends came along too. But they are just a little directional challenged.

Ok Karen

Thanks. It must have been spotterd earlier with pics. I will look at the sbcobirding for previous days. How clever of you to get the pics already. The e-mail just came through this evening.

The photo of the boat reminded me of the news story today of the boater who spotted "something" out in the Gulf. They turned the boat around to investigate and it turned out to be the three boaters who have been missing about eight days and they were clinging to a capsized boat! The rescuer is one of our locals! :><: :><: :><:

The rescued guys said they saw several boats and helicopters in their area and they just kept on going. I can barely imagine what that must feel like. Glad the boat saw them. Where was the boat from Marti?

This just came in from sbcobirding' Santa Barbara

'"Sighted an adult bald eagle at Government Point just below Point Conception north of Santa Barbara on Saturday 8/29 .  The eagle had a blue wing tag that was unidentifiable for any numbers.  The eagle came from the mainland and flew out to sea until it was chased by a western gull .  It then flew down the coast and out of sight .  It is  assumed it is an island bird but were curious if sightings on the mainland are commonplace.

Photo can be seen at www.erinfeinblatt.wordpress.com"

Maybe one of our juveniles

Maybe A-35???

Well, I see I'm coming late to this party! lol I hope they get another sighting and can read the numbers.
