My dog lived to nearly 23, guess my dog is the worlds oldest dog.  He was just 3 months shy of being 23.  I sure loved that little guy!

Some people really know how to take care of their pet :><: :><: :><:
What kind of dog was he Vickie
? I'm trying to remember what breed he was

George are you saying that an antibiotic and/or a pain pill will cause your blood sugars to fluctuate???

I'm asking because my mother who will be 89 on Nov. 3rd is a diabetic but she is not on insulin. Lately, she has been taking some pain meds for her arthritis and she seems to be feeling not quite up to snuff.

No the pain meds nor antibiotics cause the blood sugars to go erratic. The problem that i face is not being able to eat normally thus causing my sugars to go askew. However, if she is using a steriodal pain med for severe joint pain they can do a real number on the blood sugar and make it soar thru the roof. Such as prednisone and perhaps even cortisone. (now where is that copy of the PDR i have stashed here in my crap....OOPS! #$#@$# it fell on my wittle foot! rofl )

Hmm its nice to know a fellow scorpio is that "experienced"! Gives me hope too as Ill be 49 the next day on the 4th and my mom will be 85 on the 19th. There must be something in our venom that lets us age and remain fiesty! rofl

A huge drop of foam and water onto the antena's at Mt. Wilson. But that is a bit in contradiction to the water washing off the foam???

Note: The Mount Wilson webserver has gone down, most likely due to a backfire infiltration of a pull box
containing telephone lines that bring us our T1 internet service.

There will be no more updates from the Towercam, the last one being upoaded at 13:49:06

All news updates have now been moved to a different server and are posted HERE

Well, i think i may call it a night and try to get some :Zz: . However, I am going to be up and down all night to test my sugars just in case it gets too high or sinks too low. So, i may be in and out at ungodly hours. Just in case i am not, :}^ NYTOL :Zz:

The La Cresenta fire is basically out thanks to the back fires set by the firefighters. They are checking ID's and letting home owners back in now :**: :><: :><: :**:

George nothing hot, nothing cold, and no swishing. Oh I forgot no sucking ex: straw or cigaretts. Doing these will prevent a Dry Socket.
