Wow Topa I heard no boom at all but my electricity went down for about an hour. I looked on fire line to see if a vehicle hit a power line or something like that but no. A garage fire in Camarillo had 19 units there but not close enough for us. I kept waiting for Bernie to let me know something was wrong cause he usually falls off his perch. Nothing....so ???? |

For baseball fans, NY Yankee Derek Jeter - on a rainy night in NYC on Sept. 11th - has just passed Lou Gehrig for most hits as a Yankee. |

When I first was online with NASA... they were going over SB... but some air force planes at Edwards took come flights and calculated a last minute change of runways.. wind related.. so that put Discovery over LA.. not SB... I was outside and heard the rumble towards the south, but nothing like the usual loud booms... |

Wow...awesome pictures of the shuttle landing...the best I have ever seen!!! And Derek Jeter broke Lou Gehrig's record...always hate to see a record broken which was held by one of baseballs greats...but like they say, "records are made to be broken". Chiquita |

there was speculation here today that the yankees decided to go ahead and play in the rain tonight so that he could have the opportunitiy to break the record on 9/11 ----- |
