Karen...So hard to predict when a baby will come. My DM had a Dr. appt. about 2PM one afternoon and I wasn't due for another three weeks. Dr. did all the appropriate check up stuff and told her not to expect me for another three weeks...I arrived less than 12 hours later. When I had DS...pretty much same thing...two more weeks to go when...bingo...barely made it to the hospital and hospital was less than a mile away...DS born 20 min. after I made it inside the hospital doors. So, sometimes not even the Drs know for sure.

I read up on Green Bar Bill, Deb...didn't know about him...what an interesting life he had.

I so know that one, Chiquita! Jossy was 10 days early and we ended up at the hospital 3 times before they finally decided Linds was definitely in labor and only because her water broke so they had to keep her

Ian...Your shots remind us that our MCAS Miramar Air Show will be here Oct, 2,3 and 4. featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels & the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. The Blue Angels come every year. Since we live about half of a mile from MCAS Miramar we get to see it as if it was in our back yard...not the actual stunts but they come out of the maneuver over us and line up for the next as well..everyone is outside to see the show!!! and I must say often times their speed over our area is quite slow and so low that one can almost see the pilot's name on his helmet!!!

George I think we would be ok in the Grandstand area. What they are speaking of is around the Compititon Ring where a horse is competing and sees a BIG lens and would freak out thinking it's a monster that's going to get him! Been there done that on Trail Rides my horse spooked at his own shadow. Some will spook at the clicking sound too, and we don't want to interfere with any horses performance.

Remember at the Dog Show for the Canine Good Citizen's Test we were asked to mover our seats back some so we wouldn't disturb the working dogs.

Karen when the apple is ripe, it will fall from the tree. I know the last month is hard on everyone, but that is when Allen will gain most of his birth-weight. So we have to hang in there till he is ready.

I got to see one of these shows when I was a kid. Even being a kid I thought it was sooooo awesome! Was very impressed at my young age and will never forget the "Missing Man" formation tho I didn't truly comprehend the meaning at the time. I certainly do now!

It does not get much better than the Blue Angels. We were able to see them several times here at Mugu and Hueneme but they don't come very often anymore. Something about flying acrobatic. But I have always loved seeing them.

Jiller thanks so much for all your help today. It was greately appreciated. We should have great participation.

Got my oven cleaned finally! Now the pumpkin bread is in there and probably making it's own mess!! Can't wait to chow down! Will give some to the neighbors. Even the one that complains about Bernie

Dear catM: I see there is another tiger lover on the IWS site. Acatually I have not been on for ages. I have been caught up with watching the Panda Cam at the San Diego Zoo and the new arrival that was born - a male.
