<::: PLEASE READ

The 2009/2010 season is over.

A New Month ... A New Season!

The AEATT threads have been closed and put in order ... along with the Conclusion ... and renamed ... Class of 2010

The Nest Observations/Nest Watch thread remains open .. as long as there are cameras .. which are operational .. to watch.

Normally the VCOE and the IWS work on the cam equipment during the fall/winter .. so the cams may go off from time to time .. but we are normally advised by them if they are working in the area.

IWS weekly updates will probably be posted .. as in the past .. during this off season.

Just a few Gentle Reminders about posting on this thread. ( Helps to save time when reading through it).

Please remember that it is the CHANNEL ISLANDS NESTS ONLY ... either on or off camera ... that we post our observations/comments about.

There are THREE nests with cameras online ... so it is important to know WHICH NEST you are observing.

Please put the Initials at the start of your post ...

. . .ALL 3 NESTS - http://www.iws.org/bald_eagles/allnests.html
. . .PH = Pelican Harbor #1 (WMP) - http://media1.vcoe.org/eaglecam1
. . .PH = Pelican Harbor #2 (embedded) - http://www.iws.org/bald_eagles/pelicanharborcam.htm
. . .TH = Two Harbors - http://www.iws.org/bald_eagles/twoharborscam.html
. . .WE = West End - http://www.iws.org/bald_eagles/westendcam.html

Currently the TH & WE Nests are on Justin.tv ... here are the links.
. . .TH = Two Harbors - http://www.justin.tv/iwsciber
. . .WE = West End - http://www.justin.tv/iwsciber2

These nests are all in California ... so it's Pacific Time ... on this coast.

We prefer that the Quote Button is not used on this thread ... and if you must use it ... because you are referring to something on a previous page ... then take TEXT only ... never captures or video.

Thanks!

WE - Wray (edited per Pat's post below) lands (not K-01 as I originally posted)

edit: I swear I saw a right wing bling - but it obviously isn't there
as she turned to show us her right side  :U:

I knew it was too good to be true

Bette ... I was confused too ... because she did not trumpet or call when she landed.

K-01 has a left bling ... that we can see ... and only part of his right one that we can sometimes see ... but no blings showing here.

I'm still trying to wake up and BOTH TH & WE nests are making me dizzy.

TH - less than a minute ago, no eagles. I check the forum cuz Wray is on WE. Look back and both K81 & K82 are there. They're probably gone by now. LOL (Nope....still there)

WE - Wray was there. I looked at the forum. She leaves. I look at the forum. K51 arrives.

TH ... 6:59am ... looks like it was K-81 that flew off over the back rocks towards the far ridge.

K-82 remains on the nest.

7:00am ... K-81 returns over the back.

WE .. K-51 has moved onto the rock and is making soft calls.
