Thank you for all the wonderful things you and the other biologists do Dr. Sharpe. You are surely are an inspiration to us all! When you band the juvies, do you put the band on a certain leg to show gender? I know some biologists put more than one band on the leg or legs. But was wondering if you do it to show gender. Thank you again!

I try to put the silver band on the right leg of males and the left leg of females, but of course we don't know the sex for sure until we send in the blood for DNA analysis. |
