Peter, Could that unmarked eaglet/ or year oldjuvie "intruder" that K01 and Wray have chased off...have been from another nest on one of the other Channel Islands...or even Catalina? and Looking for food? I realize you and cover Catalina every single day..looking for other eagles...I would think it is still very possible there could be a nest that no one knows about....same for the other Channel Islands. This unmarked eaglet came to WE twice in the past 10 days ..yesterday and one day last week...I think July 16th or there abouts. Even today...an unmarked eaglet swooped in and divebombed K27 when she was on the nest rock...We thought maybe that could have been MeToo but then again, could have been the same "intruder". It is a puzzlement. Wherever or Whoever that Eaglet is...it is precious..just the same... I am just curious what your thoughts are on the "intruder". |

Thank you Dr. Sharpe, I felt it was 5Z also, maybe it was a cat and mouse game. Maybe Wray was trying to toughen her up? |
