On the TH nest looks like a lot of the same kind of fish (we're all thrilled with the abundance). Is it possible a large migration is passing through the Channel Islands? Or could it be the start of a good year of plentiful regular residents (calico, perch, opaleye, garibaldi, mackerel, flying fish)? Bonito maybe? Too round to be barracuda? Thanks. ![]()

They could be sea bass from the pens down below the nest. The people that run the facility could be throwing out dead ones. I saw at least one mackerel. |
