Dr. Sharpe Why would be there a light on WE it was like someone was looking for something or someone. I was up at 4 CST and notices the light shining really bright around 4:15 CST. Could it be the harbor patrol or someone out just looking at the nest. Tina Ehrenfeld |

Hi Tina, Don't think Kate was saying you didn't see it. Did you watch the video she posted above? It just shows a different time stamp, that's all.

Tina Should have made myself clearer - As we talked about in chat, I went and tried to find it on the archives. I was wondering if that was anything like what you saw so we could go from there and try to find it so Dr. Sharpe can give us his take on it. I see the search light shining on the water and on the land at times. Looked further today when I had more time ... found two more spots. I had assumed cam time was two hours different than your CST. Are either of these what you saw Tina: Boat search lights 3:14 to 3:15 a.m. 10 02 14 Boat search lights 3:17 to 3:22 a.m. 10 02 14 |

I'd have to see a video of what you saw. If it is shining up from the water, then it could be anyone. If it is shining down on the nest and it is not the infrared illuminator, then it would be the moon. |

Dr. Sharpe, It was coming from the water. The one on the left side of the nest was so bright that it was blinding me just watching it on the computer and the other one was dimmer that was on the right side. Thank you and to Kate for the information. I never had saw them out there that time of the morning. Tina |

They may have still been looking for the diver that disappeared a couple days earlier a few miles down the coast. |
