Carole Thanks for the 's of Tiana and Luna. They both look really good I rarely even check the IWS Updates since my Mom got here so I don't know what is happening anymore ![]() DS and his girlfriend drove to Connecticut on Friday after she did her PHD Comprehensives for several hours that morning. They were both in a 24 hour Pinball tournament there on Saturday. What a riot. We watched the live streaming as we were eating our late dinner at Applebee's at the same time keeping an eye on The Jets shootout win. We texted him that we could see him on the screen so he started waving to us and the announcer says Hi too!!! When I got up this morning at 7:00, DS was in 6th place. By the time it was all over he came in 3rd. We texted Congrats but haven't heard from either one of them as I'm sure they were beyond exhausted. The announcers were making cracks about the last ones playing looking and acting like total zombies. One said he could never do a 24 hour marathon again and the other says..."that's because you're already 29" !!!!

whew - it was hit or miss (a lot of miss) this week for me and CHIL lots at work with billing out first of week - a seminar on Thurs that we hosted so I had to be there Wed night for early check in on Thurs of the participants and then baby sitting to make sure all went well I'm off tomorrow but visit to Dr for annual physical - then dentist at 2 and that "other dr" at 4 - whew! I'll be thoroughly poked and prodded but all done for another year! hope everyone is well I'm sure I've missed some important things so hopefully if I get some time between poking tomorrow - I'll be able to do some catching up here ![]() we went to the beach this AM to walk - it was awesome - nice little breeze - chilly so most folks didn't show up - it was pretty MT - oh well - their loss - was beautiful I walked with DD when I was home a few weeks ago and she has continued to walk at the local reservoir at least once a week - trying for twice if she can squeeze it in she hasn't had the nerve to walk all the way around worried she can't do it but she can - she doesn't know it though LOL - so if she hasn't done it by the time I get home for Christmas - we'll walk it then There's a new reservoir right behind this one - I want her to walk that one next ![]() She's doing a little over 2 miles each walk so far woo hoo and making steady progressyawn I'm tired - got home - did a ton of scout paperwork I've been ignoring lots of laundry - towels wrapping up now! gonna start wrapping up for the day - again will try to catch up a little tomorrow in between be well

Sandie your neighbour took an amazing sunset it was really gorgeous...not as good as your teeth, but close  Extra prayers to Laurie and her DH for both of them ![]() Marsha you are the cat lady angel and Marti do you really think Smokey would hold a grudge? I'm not a cat owner, so I'm not sure if they do things like that ![]() Deb I forget to mention that the Lobby of Tower 1 is something to behold. I'm sure ES is very proud of the contributions he made to that space as well as all the other things he did during construction. I hope I get to see it in person one of these days

Deb I remember those lazy days you used to have at work and you'd do maybe 6-8 posts a day..... This boss really makes you work. Glad you got to walk around the beach. Marsha I was thinking the same thing you were posting. Must be such interesting involvement for you. Never a dull moment! Penny don't do yourself in. Little changes if ever. But you are so right. Her life is in jeopardy with all that is happening. They just don't seem to see it that way.....EVER! I'm glad you stay on them. When they figure out that they have someone that CARES for the people in their care then they pay a little more attention. Especially if you don't back down. Its actually cold tonight outside. And it's cloudy or foggy I guess is correct. Bernie is sitting in his cage just talking his little heart out  My friend said her little Lily bird passed away yesterday. Lily was blind and was not doing too well last time I saw her. She says it too quiet in her house now. Fly free little Lily bird |

Penny, you are so sweet. You know, as I was typing up the explanation for the poly cat, I was thinking how I've rarely, if ever have seen a dog with extra toes or digits. I suppose if I talked to enough people, I would hear all kinds of stories. Maybe I should talk to my vet. Veeeery Interesting.....! It's all a matter of genetics. It's almost tv time with hubby. I am working tomorrow, but the schools will be closed on Tuesday, for Veteran's Day. Until then. Good night friends. Oh Sandie, I just read your post about your friend's little bird. Hugs for her.

Penny I'm going out on a limb and say I think they do. They are odd little creatures. They are like orchids.....they sulk. That is what I felt like when I helped rescue Harry the pelican. Please don't hold it against me. You'll be better I promise!!! BTW I spoke to rehab lady and she said he is doing great and will be released close to the dock. I guess we will see how he acts around us. I wonder if he will hold a grudge?

Marsha thanks for reminding me about the Board Settings because when I checked I was out by an hour since I still did have the Daylight Savings Time box checked ![]() Sandie what we will have to do is get Mom paneled for a higher care facility which means a nursing/personal care home. I'm going to hate to move her out of her apartment but it looks like I am going to have no choice
