OMG Carole those kidney stones are really quite uncomfortable until they pass. I'm not sure about the beer but I guess it could work plus a little side effect :><:

I have not seen/heard any news in a couple of weeks so unaware about Jerusalem. Doesn't Hikers family live there. OIC now they are staying inside....Wow how frightening.

Karen it appears it is going to rain again. :)^ >O< WOO HOO!!!

I spoke to a police officer on my Aunt's case today. Found out Aunt Jewel had passed away at least 1-2 months before my cousin set fire to the house and shot himself. It's so unimaginable to me. Maybe he didn't want anyone to know she had died and that way he could continue to receive her social security checks??? The officer said it was a real shame because they have people that could have helped him with all of the problems. I wish some one or a friend had gone to check up on him. Maybe something could have been done. Sad Sad Sad. :(

Deb - NY is getting hit by snow big time. How is it in your neck of the woods!?

Carol - And the weather report from NJ is.......

I think George is making some slow progress! :)^ Hope he doesn't have to go out in the ice and snow. Take it easy and get well!

Laurie, are you snowed in yet?!

The wind was still blowing some here, but the sun came out and warmed it up a bit. Supposed to get cold again....

Jill...Thanks for the link to Laurie's blog.

Sandie...Hope you get all the answers to the tragic accident involving your aunt and cousin. So sad for you.

Received a very nice, upbeat note from my 48 yr. old nephew today. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in Sept. and had just finished his second chemo treatment this morning. We were all stunned when we received the news a while back...he's such a fitness guy...mostly cycling. We're all hoping the best for him.

Thanksgiving is sure creeping up fast...gotta get out the silver to polish, dishes, etc. Enjoy setting the table with the family pieces and then having a few days to enjoy it before the big day arrives.

Thanks Jill for sharing my blog post. :Hugs:

We already had our family Thanksgiving on November 1st. We went to Dave's parents' home, all his family was there. There was turkey, all the fixins. Dave and I stayed in the "guest cottage" overnight and I used it throughout the day to rest. Unfortunately right as dinner was served I felt so bad, physically and just tired, that I started crying. My head also hurt so much. My leg hurt a lot. I had to take my food to the guest cottage and eat alone.

This coming Saturday we are going to a friend's house for "Friendsgiving". I think I'll feel so much better so I'm sure I can stay at the table with everyone.

For Thanksgiving itself, I won't need a third one. Dave's parents are going to come down and we are going to a very nice Indian restaurant that's close to here. We've never been there but it gets great reviews and sounds amazing. I love Indian food. I think I feel my appetite finally coming back!!

Carole, for your recovery with your kidney stones. They say it very painful. Hugs to you. :Hugs: <3

Sandie, so glad you're finding out the truth, or at least as much of it as you can, about your Aunt. I woulnd't be surprised at all, if your cousin didn't say anything to keep the SS checks coming. It's just that I couldn't imagine living with a deceased person in the house. Hugs to you, too. <3

Jill, I went to Laurie's blog and read through it. I'm almost positive that quite a while ago, I had posted a comment, but I don't remember. I'm so glad she's able to get around the house.

LAURIE, YOU JUST POSTED!!!!!!!!
