I just found a neat item via FB. A friend at the Wright Flyer Project is on a Flight - China to L.A. ! He is using flightstats.com. You can use your laptop to track your flight, see a map of where you are and all the dates, times etc to get there. He will be landing in about 40 minutes. He just landed. It was a 10 hr. 45 min. flight. I'll bet he is tired! |

Good Morning, all. Our IT guy brought back DH's computer yesterday. He hadn't even made it to his car when DH found that the virus was still there! :'(. He had to take it back to his shop again. Wow, that virus is really bad. So, I am still on my tablet and DH is on my laptop. |

Hi all Yes marti - there are a number of online programs that allows you to track flights real time! It's pretty cool. I give that information to all my scouting families when the boys are flying somewhere for an adventure! They love it. Brrrr still a bit cold here - more so because of the wind. Still can't get over all the snow up in Buffalo wish a little of that had come here oh well - maybe next time!Hooray - thanks for the posting of the eagle egg news Carole - so exciting Had a meeting last night so got home a little late - so tired so asleep by 10 LOL |

Gosh Peetie I wouldn't think a union would approve such poor working conditions. I hope things get better. Deb i'm curious how many eagle scouts have you and Gary been personally responsible for? Sounds like these attorneys are really busy whereas your former employer was not. These guys really make you work for your money!! Marsha sorry you are to a point that you need a temp handicap placard. Doesn't sound like a placard I have ever heard of but sure makes sence. OMG isn't BUTTERCUP adorable. And what a perfect name for this adorable addition. I have to get back up there soon. |

Have a great Thursday Peeps ![]() It's a balmy -17C/1F here this morning At least its and clear ![]() I put out extra suet cakes and re-filled the feeders last night because it was the coldest one so far. There was a flurry of activity by the chick-a-dees and woodpeckers this morning along with the usual squirrel chattering ![]() |

Carole I wonder if the Florida pairs will be impacted by the unseasonable cold weather. I guess when they are in incubation mode nothing will dissuade them from doing their natural behaviours ![]() Sandie your fan and wool rug are both great finds at the Thrift store Enjoy your bargains.Peetie take care of yourself too I hope everything works out with the new contract ![]() from all your friends Laurie

Good morning! I'm so cold, even here in Southern California. It went down to about 50 degrees last night -- nothing compared to what Penny is dealing with (BRR!!), but my house has only a little wall heater and it was down almost to 60 in here. I was all bundled up and still shivering. I've ordered a tower space heater and can't wait until it gets here. Let's hope it doesn't blow any fuses! Romeo and Juliet and their egg AND darling Buttercup Linda, your photos of that precious cutie giraffe are great! Carole, I hope you are feeling much better and that the dreadful kidney stone is gone. Sandie, your place is looking so lovely with all the pretty goodies. I especially love that rug. I know, I keep saying I'm coming up there. Soon, soon... My family is all back east and the person who usually hosts the Thanksgiving dinner for us and our friends has to be with his dad this year, so I was feeling kind of lonely. Then a friend from my writing class invited me to join them. I'm going to take my Southern Corn Pudding and a cranberry "thing". I'm looking forward to it. Now to get up her steps, always a potential problem. Sigh... Love and prayers for Laurie for strength to enjoy that trip to Catalina and to endure the challenges still ahead. Hi, Cat. Hope that computer gets fixed. Marsha, I used to have one of those red placards, but now I have a blue permanent one. I'm not sure that's progress, but it sure is helpful being able to use the handicap parking. Sorry you need it, though. Peetie, I have arthritis too. I take Celebrex once a day and on rare occasions twice and it mostly keeps the pain from being too unbearable. to you and hope you feel better soon.
