I just posted the other Cranberry Orange Bread with Grated Orange Peel and Chopped Apple recipe on the Exchange. I have not made this recipe yet...but it looks very good and with the chopped apple it should be extra moist and it makes 2 large loaves.

Today I made the traditional recipe on the back of the bag of Ocean Spray Cranberries.

Because of the holiday, I have dialysis tomorrow (Sunday), Tuesday and Friday this coming week. I hate it when they change my schedule! :(.

So, I need to get ready for tomorrow then have dinner. I am making blue corn enchiladas with beef. I love blue corn! :Yum:

I hope everyone has a great evening. See you on Monday!

Karen I noticed your recipes listed in the exchange. They look delicious.

Cat sorry they are changing your schedule. That must be a little hard on your body. Can't eat any tortillas :( But glad you can!!!

I should never have agreed to go to Costco with my friend. Everytime I go in there I spend way too much money. I bought a 25 lb bag of sugar this time. Going to share it with Wendy. i'll be baking a lot in the coming weeks. Plan on taking goodies to my numerous Dr's offices. I bought a turkey even tho I am not going to cook it right away. I forgot to buy my jays peanuts. I'm almost out :8O: Oh and I bought Pennsylvania egg nog with rum and brandy OMG to die for. I'm gonna crack that thing open next week when Paul gets home.

Sandie, that is a problem - going to Costco and not spending too much money.

Catm, hoping the change of dialysis does throw your body off, too much! :Hugs: <3

I got some very cute items at the Christmas Botique. What I really wanted, I found just at the very end, right before leaving. I wanted to buy a dear friend, a new Christmas nightlight, but the fancy ones in the stores, make it difficult, if not impossible to change the lights. Well, I found snowmen, that could even be used after Christmas, and the light is not closed up. :><:

I loved hearing about baking cranberry bread because I bought all my ingredients today to do the same. I've been making the same recipe for years. Mine has orange juice in it and is always very moist.

I did all my shopping today… but as soon as I arrived home I started my new 'list' with small things that I am just remembering… so one more trip to Ojai tomorrow or Monday… I am fixing Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's house so everything has to be transported… I have lots of help too so it should be an easy day.. if you call 30 people easy.

We are still playing soccer… Sasha's team won in Ojai and today we started playing in Camarillo… We lost to Camarillo early but her team won later in the day… to another team.. so we will be going back tomorrow… :ok:

I too am always thinking of Laurie and David. It sounds like they are having a tour of Catalina soon.. getting there in a private plane.… I can't wait to hear the details….

Watching the news from upstate New York and cannot believe the snow on those roofs. Now the fear of flooding… Stay safe all of you.

Jeanne, I saw your eagle photos on Facebook and they were amazing!!! You sure know how to capture the moments….

:^: >O< Linda I have missed you!! Where did you go? IMWTK >O< >O<

I have not made cranberry bread I'm going to have to try it.

While at Costco we ran into this church that was buying an amazing amount of food. They will cook it and serve it to the homeless they said :)^

Watching USC and UCLA play. They are tied 14/14 but UCLA is now 17. Wow things are changing very quickly!! Would love to be there.

We are taking a private plane charter to Catalina (a special treat from my DH). That'll make it especially nice. We will go there on Dec 1, tour Dec 2, and return on the 3rd. My cousin Nadine will come from Michigan to join us, so it'll be the three of us.

You know Hitchcock's "The Birds" / there was a swarm of hundreds of black birds
fly through MCR today / WE saw 3 eagles, could only count one / a flock of
snow geese flew over , too early to land here yet / Only 5 birds by the time
I left and some naughty red tails couldn't make up their minds /

Petra - Have a good week end /

Marti - Keep safe / :Hugs: Little Boy and Smokey /

Penny - Lovely to see flower / angry looking eagle /May our eagles keep gong /

CatM - 60's nice /How nice for you and DH do things together /Hope you have
a smooth dialisis :X:

Marshaz - Yes, think a subdues back ground would look better / Enjoy boutique /

Jillers - Cute kitties /

Sandie - Enjoy your new rug / safety for your Paul in Colorado /

SCLady - Cranbery bread :Yum: Nice time at Costco /

Amethyst - Hope you had a fabulous trip :)^

Ojailala - You are all such good cooks :Yum: I can only make a few good
things / I was visiting my son in Colorado for a week / Since he was
working every day I said to him How bout I start dinner for you tonight??
He said (horrified) Oh No mom, I'll do it / rofl rofl
They said Buffalo, NY got more snow in 3 days then they get in a whole
season /
So nice to have family together for Thanksgiving / You are so blessed /
The one thing I can make well beside spaghetti is my mom's ground
beef casserole 1 LB ground beef browned with salt, pepper, onion flakes,
Place in casserole. Then a layer of sliced potatoes (about 4 ) Layer of
sliced carrots . Sprinkle salt pepper, onion flakes / Cover with a can of
tomato sauce or catsup / bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 hour / Thats it /
rofl rofl
Emerald skye - David - Hope your Catalina trip is special / Prayers to
surround you / :Hugs: :X:
