Good Sunday Morning Catm and Carole and Chat Friends! Wishing everyone a beautiful and relaxing Sunday. Oh, yesterday was great with over 50 posts and I think, 4 pages of us friends chatting. The clouds are back and temps are cooling off.

All the critters have been fed. The squirrels (two grey, one rock), four scrub jays and two curved billed thrashers have had their peanuts; the doves and quail are pecking at the large seed blocks; the finches (pine siskins, house finches and lesser gold finches) are all over the two thistle feeders; the sparrows (four different types), juncos (two different types) and assorted other small birds are pecking at the seed on the ground and the suet feeder. The apple piles by the trees are getting smaller - those deer love apples as do the raccoons and coyotes. The rabbits are eating whatever it is they eat in the grass. We have so many critters! We love it! |

CAROLE...I am sure can relax more , once you put your mind to it with Cruzer Power...hourly, daily. CAT...Your property is a heaven and just like the Cornell Lab Bird Cams...in fact yours is even better! Very blustery day here...got my walk in earlier...small weather front moving thru today with tiny bit of rain possible later...Tuesday a large system with lots of rain is coming. Gee, I wonder if Laurie and David could postpone their trip until Wednesday to fly to Catalina and reschedule their tour with Maria to Thursday. Looking forward to the Pats vs Green Bay football this afternoon. Now we are locked into the Hoops...Kansas vs Michigan St. |

We might consider postponing a few days except we are locked in by my cousin's flights to come join us. I don't think she can make any changes. We will work with what we can. |

Hello We have a little rain today. Very light, on and off, but anything is welcome. I actually used my umbrella leaving church this morning. Cat - What fun to have so many critters. That's one of the things I love about being at our cabin in the summer. Lots of animals. And birds. Especially Carole - Put you feet up, and read a good book. It should help to relax. Laurie - Maybe you will be lucky and the rain won't be too bad. The heaviest rains are forecast to be inland with lesser amounts along the coast. Linda - Glad to have you back. Waiting for pictures. I did a lot of decorating for Christmas last night but we haven't brought in the tree yet. Need a dry period tomorrow to do that. I think I put out the nutcrackers today and then do some reading in front of the fire. Perfect day for that. I'll keep one ear open for the game and if it's really good I'll just put my feet up and watch that. Time for my yummy turkey sandwich.
