click largerImage by Barbara Fleming for Audubon Deb I hope that the Snowy Owl so far south does not mean the beginning of another irruption because that means there are too many birds and not enough food for them on the tundra

Hi Carole, here is some info. on the plant.... They are red, pink, white, yellow-orange. Don't know if I missed some colors. If you grow one, you have to be careful when you prune.....ouchie! Long thorns!

My neighbor and I had a lovely lunch at Neiman's and then enjoyed the decorations all around Fashion Island...it is an outdoor shopping center. But the extra happy excitement..while we were having lunch...her cellphone ...her Great Grandaughter has gone into labor...at the hospital. So for the remainder of our hours together my friend was getting calls fromher DH, her other family members...Jessica is deliverying this bundle of joy at a nearby hosptial...but all are agreed to await the actual birth...so Jessica and her hubby can share this delivery in tender privacy...very special timefor a young couple bringing in their first child to the world together. It was so fun being a part of these phone calls and excitement....I have know Jessica since she was 4 yers old. Now I wait to hear from my neighbor for the big announcement that baby is here and all is well. Jessica has had a difficult pregnancy....this little one will be 3 weeks early...if indeed baby girl arrives in the next several hours.

Karen that is such a beautiful time when a new baby arrives I hope Jessica has an uncomplicated delivery ![]() Carol I don't think I have ever seen a photo of you in your red hat. You look very nice in that whole outfit The of the GBH is very nice too ![]() Do you happen to have Siri on your Mac Book? She is a female voice though ![]() I haven't had that happen...perhaps you are on some kind of Youtube video It could be an extension that you didn't know you had. It does sound very strange. Maybe it would help if you cleared your history and website data by clicking on Safari at the top left of your monitor and then on clear history. That could get rid of any cookies that are there. DH did not have any other suggestions. Good Luck. I am still having issues of my own on this new Yosemite operating system

Penny - Thanks / I should have had the brim down on the hat so you could see the big purple butterfly pin and the red and purple ostrich feathers I am afraid of clearing anything because I might lose something I need / I think I may need someone to tell me which button on the Mac keyboard to un-press to take it off / I know it's not on my old keyboard that I use or the mouse / |

I think Chiquita asked about the eagle's nest... This is how it looked in June this year with baby on board..![]() This was today... ![]() You can see tree is dead. The small patch of nest near center in last picture is part of the nest that stayed attached to the tree as the main nest started to tilt to the right. More rain tonight and tomorrow.. and the nest just gets heavier and heavier.. Eagles still working on it as though it can be repaired.. |
