Dear Sandie, I am so so sorry that KeeKee got sick like that. I guess you don't have a blow dryer to help if she needs a bath. The crate doesn't hurt the dog at all, it's better than going through that awful ordeal you did last night. :Hugs: <3 Hugs for you and your puppy dog.

With Mike home for a short time, we all sat in the den, and watched the Chargers win!!!!!!! After, hubby and I went to bed, Mike, Allison, and Sarah, played Monopoly until the wee hours of the morning.

AND HAPPY HANUKKAH TO THOSE CELEBRATING!

Dear Sweet Laurie thank you (and everyone else) for your enlightenment during this entire trying new experience. I was just trying to be a good neighbor and brighten my landlords emotional state. I will still let her come in here and give Akeelah loveies. Since this will be my service dog and not just my pet I will be taking her with me and seldom will I leave her alone.

Kathie we are happy to have you here whenever you are available to join us. Yes puppies are certainly harder than I remember. All the dogs I have had prior were all larger dogs and had their place outside. I never really had to train them to do their business out there.

I have been trying to do my pecan tootsies all afternoon. It's really labor intensive but love the results!! I will share with everyone (but save some for myself) :<::

Karen when do you go and pick up your family? I hope we have some nice weather for them to enjoy :X:

Wow this colts/cowboys football game is just a runaway for Dallas. >O<

LAURIE...excellent suggestion to SANDIE for 2 spaces for KeeKee...depending on the needs when Sandie must go out without her. We did the exact same thing ages ago, when our Daisy was a pup. Works like a charm. :)^

You and David have found a beautiful eternal resting place. DH and I did this over 20 years ago...we have one plot..for our casket burials...we will be stacked atop each other. We sometimes talk about the lovely spot we found here at the cemetery in Newport Beach....plot has a lovely ocean view...and will be peaceful place for whichever one of us lives longer and visits the grave of the other . I find it very settling and soothing, knowing this is all arranged in advance and like you and David...we chose it together.

It sounds like you are not so tired, since the last procedure of removing the stint. Hope your sleeping patterns are much less disturbed now. :)^ :Hugs:

:lol: :ok: Marsha isn't it WONDERFUL to have everyone in the nest and enjoying each and every one. I bet these are great times and ones they will cherish long after just this season! Wish my GD and GG kids and DD could all be together. I just can't seem to make that happen. Maybe some day like Karen and her family has been able to do.

Laurie I meant to say I hope having the stent out has made life more manageable. And that it has allowed you to sleep much better. I will read your blog in a little while!!! >O<

SANDIE We pick them up at LAX tomorrow morning , their plane due to land at 8:45am...yes, the weather for the week will be pleasant here and where you are too. Should be a dry weather Christmas for us all here in Calif. The weather forecast for Austin, TX...tomorrow morning is good too...so their flight should leave there on time...barring any other delays...i.e. mechanical or late crew arrivals. Hopefully all will go smooth as silk. :ok:

Karen did you remember to watch their flight on flightaware.com? You can track them from the beginning to the end of the flight. That will give you a better idea of where they are.

I've been looking at Bing opening page and watching the little blue jay in all that snow. Looks so cold but so cute also.

Sandie, we had our Christmas dinner of the prime rib roast, green beans, rice pilaf, veggie platter and dip, lastly a bottle of champagne we brought home from France, this past Summer. Now, the 3 of them are on the couch watching Frozen?
What - a 30 year old Navy guy watching Frozen with his sisters? It's sweet, but I hope his friends don't find out.

Laurie, I want to go see that blog now. There's something comforting to know you and David, picked out your final resting places.

Oh Laurie, the plots next to the waterfalls, are gorgeous! It's very peaceful and green and the surrounding hills look beautiful.

Like Karen had said, hubby and I had picked out (purchased our plots) 15 years ago, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. We bought 5 plots back to back with hubby's oldest sister, back to back.

I don't remember if we'll be in the top row or bottom row, but it doesn't really matter. OMG, so many family members have passed since we first bought these 15 years ago, and 2 of his sister's 5 spaces are used (his sister, Dovey, and a nephew).

Marsha I am sure that his buddies would do the same with their sisters and probably swear they would never!!! BOYS???? MEN!!!! Rose Hiss is where a lot of my family is.

Laurie I imagine it is a huge relief to know where you and David will be. If I could choose a spot that was tranquil and serene for one of you to be able to visit the other and family members to come as well.....how could you find a more exquisite place than that. I don't think our family planned those things very well. Or at least I didn't know about it. :<::
