Good Morning Chat Friends!

I'm hoping this post will work! :X:

Sandie,
I read your post from last night. It's called ROSE HILLS MEMORIAL PARK, in Whittier. It's also quite lovely.

Hi Catm, I'll have to check the E-mail on hubby's computer. This thing is sooooo
slow, I have not checked my E-mail for days. I bet, it's about the questions I asked you. Thanks. :Hugs: <3

Hey Catm, I was able to open my E-mails, on this slow gal. I didn't see anything, either on my regular E-mails or junk mail. Could you please resend it to me? :Hugs: <3

Oh gosh Marsha what did I put????? :8O: Some are there tho!!! They are both very lovely but rather sedate. I really like Laurie's choice!!! I don't like scattering ashes like DH had in Lake Tahoe. But that was his choice. Debbie is in an alcove at our Ivy Lawn here. It's ok but I would love to have her in a place like Laurie's choice. I've never seen anything like that before.

rofl Every time I put Akeelah in her crate she really cries or barks. Just in general does not like it.....period!!! So Bernie I guess commiserates with her and starts to whistle....like I feel your pain rofl

I finally finished the pecan tootsies way late but they were really good. Took some to landlord as kind of peace offering.

I signed Akeelah up for a little socialization group after the first of the year. That will really be good for her. Her trainer suggested it. She used to own the business and sold out to her partner. Send Rover on Over....cute name huh?

Chiquita so glad to see you posting yesterday. I miss you!!! Merry Christmas
.
Has any one heard from Lala? Was wondering about our Casitas pair?

Penny don't worry yourself ragged about Harriet. I just pray she is in good hands watching over her.

Sandie one way to get her to see the crate as a good thing is to feed her meals in there. You can leave the door open for that so she doesn't feel locked in.

Hanukkah - Keep celebrating
Christmas - Count down

CatM - You, Vic, and Christmas visits / HOw lovely :tree:

Marshaz - What a lovely delicious dinner with family / <3

Sandie - You catch more flies with honey / People make mistakes /
You were getting along with your new land lady / So good you signed your
puppy up for exercise / They need to let out their puppy energy / Probably
could get advise from Elaine's son who trains service dogs / Have to be careful
giving a puppy a bath like a baby using warm water and like Marsha said
using a hair dryer to keep him warm /
I wonder if a little "lap dog" is big enough for a service dog or a larger dog to
keep you from falling???????

Penny - Love your Christmas eagles / Another "grey day" here :'( I forgot
the solstice /

Amethyst - So very sad for Ozzie / Hope the chicks are successful :X:

SCLady - Nice sentiment :)^

EmeraldSkye/Laurie - David - Your resting place is so beautiful / Prayers
you feel really good and enjoy Christmas / :Hugs:

KathieOV - Chiquita - Jiller - George - Petra - Carole - Ojailala - ADKLaurie -
Jeannec - CindyAZ - and All wishing you a sunshine day /

Another gloomy day here / last Monday the last time we saw the sun /
At least I was able to get my large laundry done this morning! Whew!!

Oh Laurie good advise once again. I'll start doing that. THANK YOU!!!! :Hugs:

Carol the sun is probably trying it's best to come out but the clouds are stronger in the winter. I'm baking!!! We have pretty cold air but sun is at least shining. I just heard down where Jann lives there is supposed to be 70 mph winds :8O: Elaines son I thought only did the basics and we have surpassed that now. She is just perfect for my surroundings her hypoallergic hair and she is pleanty big enough for what she will do for me. Any dog can be a service dog. They just need to be trained for specific needs. Her trainer said she is well on her way!!!!

Karen :ok: Betcha you have a happy carful of folks with you right now. I hope those winds don't pester you guys on the trip!!

We were thinking about going to our dock and visit Harry and do a little fishing but not with winds and high surf so we postponed until about Wed maybe.Or even on the 25th!!!

I have run out of milk eggs and butter so I guess its a run to the store whether I want to or not.

Sandie, Laurie, is right about getting KeeKee use to the crate. You can put treats or food in there. Sarah, would crawl into the crate with Louie. Now that she is 21, she hardly ever does that anymore.
Never use the crate as a punishment, then the animal will see it as something negative.

Beautiful day here in So.Calif....no wind down our way. Michelle & John's plane landed on time...we whisked them away from LAX to a have a funky breakfast "on the sand" in Newport Beach....a surfer spot...been there since 1963. They loved it. We got to the house about noon...everyone went for a snooze ...me too. :D Now we are all awake....Joe Cocker passed away to day. age 70....so DH has Joe Cocker CD playing now...Michelle liked him too.

John has grown another inch since August...now 6ft.3in. DH is chef-ing tonight ....he is making his knock your socks off Beef Stew. Time for me to go join everyone downstairs. :}^
