A 240 year old doll that can write; a clockwork creation by Pierre Jaquet-Droz. This 4 minute clip will fascinate just about all the engineers, artists, clock makers, doll makers, computer programmers, want to be inventors, or basically anyone out there that likes to tinker. Remember…this was built in the 1770's. http://www.chonday.com/Videos/the-writer-automaton |

Catching up: Cat - luv that DH has a new playmate LOL .... Carole - glad to hear you're feeling a bit better - up and moving even if gingerly for a day or two! 80 - oh boy not the case here Jill - I like your explanation of memory lapses heheheVickih - good to hear that Kyla is enjoying school and pursuing that degree! good luck carol - guess you'll have to keep an eye out to see if the eagles move to a more stable tree sounds like the CA eagles that Lala keeps an eye on with their tree issue Penny just saw the awesome photo of your mom and puppy - beautiful! So we headed out this morning to try to beat the weather - while the sun was still shining - did some caching up by my office - yes crazy huh to drive all the way over there to cache we did one where there is no "cache" but instead you must bring a 2" white rock with your name and date on it and add to the pile - kind of cool - nice walk along the top of the ridge with a view of the SoundThen we went next door to Kings Park Mental Hospital which is now a park - the buildings are still there and I'm sure down the road will all be torn down - kind of spooky walking around but we did - all abandoned! found a couple caches there then it started to snow - then rain - then snow - then rain - then sleet then rain ... LOL Went back towards where my offices is and did a couple park & grabs - headed home and settled in for the rainy night ![]() Past time for bed so with that

Thanks for all the kind words, everybody. Neither Pauline or my Mom, are bouncing back. I've said it before. After church, I'm really going to take it easy. I saw Pauline 2x today. It's so sad, now her lungs are starting to fill with fluid. Not a good sign. We stopped by tonight after dinner, so Allison could say good bye to her. She goes back to college, tomorrow. Going to log off soon. Good night friends. |
