:}^ Friends....

YIKES!!! LAURIE!!! What a bone chilling temperature you awoke to this morning!

I wonder what it will be in GreenBay this weekend...for the football game...Dallas at Green Bay...in the "frozen tundra". I checked forecast earlier...saying possible 20's...why that is Springtime to those hardy fans. :D

Quiet day here at home and here on Chat.

Maria's Catalina Update is delightful read!

Good Afternoon, all.

DH and I ran to the drug store and grocery store. Heard on the PA at the Albertsons: "White Porsche in parking lot, your lights are on". I don't know why it sounded so strange. People who drive Porsches need to buy food too, I guess. rofl rofl rofl

Maria's beautiful water/sun photo - ahhhh on a brrrr cold northeast day!

WEATHER.COM says it's 10 where my kids are - 20 here
at least the winds have died down - a little breeze but this morning - whooee! so making the cold even colder :o

working thru the stacks on my desk as I work on year end papers . . . where did all this stuff come from

of course that little bit of snow made my car filthy and gritty - oh well the price we must pay :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk: :flk:

wonder if we'll have time to cache this weekend :X:

looking into seeing if I can put our Boston trip together for our scouts - gotta keep the cost reasonable .......the hotel we used before, went up in price :( so looking around for another place (with free breakfast and pool) we stay on the outskirts - take train in - do the hikes, etc. april will be here before you know it!

Hi everyone :}^

Believe it or not, it was 38F. in Florida this morning but has now warmed up to 60F, so have the heat on in the house :8O:

I took Maya to the groomer early this morning and wore sweats and a warm jacket. I don't mind the cool weather as it will be warming up into the 70's soon.

It's a bit chilly for Alan's golf when he tees off at 8:15

Wow! What an eventful few days. i've been unable to get on Chat and have been trying to catch up.

Lala (Linda), my love and hugs to you in sympathy for the loss of your mom. How lucky you have been to have her in your life for such a long time. Thanks for sharing her with us, too.

And Marsha, my love to you and your family, too. I know you will miss Pauline while at the same time appreciating the fact that she is no longer in pain. I'm impressed at how everyone gathered round her during her last days.

And David, Elaine's son...Looks like you're making great progress. I know it is often painful and difficult and I admire you for your accomplishments.

And of course, love and hugs to Laurie and David. Always.

The weather here has been crazy...32 degrees on New Year's Day, just a week ago, and 80 degrees yesterday. It still gets pretty chilly at night, and the temps are supposed to go down some in the next days. My living room, where I sleep, has been in the low 60's...too chilly for me! Luckily, I've had a nice cozy electric blanket...that is, until yesterday morning, when for no reason I could discern, it just quit working. Sigh...(Shiver)

I've been super busy working to get my book of poetry ready to turn over to the publisher. I am including alot of photos and drawings, so it has taken much time and effort to get them ready. I'm not nearly as close to finished as I'd like to be.

Sandie, where are you?!
