Hello all. I am at the freaking out stage. We leave tomorrow morning at 8:30 and I have so much to do still. Sitting in the chair getting a pedicure so using my phone to post. It been a challenge keeping the weight down. We're gone two days short of five weeks and will be in hot and cold weather. Our first stop is Santiago Chile for two days. Then we fly down south into the Alps and the fantastic Natl Park and Patogonia. We are there six days and then fly to the bottom of South America where we board the ship for 22 days. First stop is the Falkland Islands and then on to South Georgia Is. This is my dream stop. We make about five stops there with lots and lots of penguins. Then down to Antarcia with many stops and tons of sea life. Back across the Drake Passage to Argentina. We are taking an extension tour of Buenos Aires and up to the falls on the Argentine border with Brazil. We'll take a short trip into Brazil to see the falls on n that side. It's a trip of a lifetime, all thanks to my wonderful dad. We are won't have anything as cold as Laurie or Deb. Temps in Antarctica will be in the 30's which I can live with. I will try and post some pictures as we travel depending on Internet service. I hope all stay well. Prayers continue for Laurie and David. Bye for now. |
