Only time for a quick hello and hope everyone's day is going well. :)^

LALA...More (((GH))) for you and your whole family. I read your post last night...your Mother..."home on her chair" so touching. Hope Baby settles in nicely with your sister's cats.

It is kinda sad the Eagle nest is down...but a good thing none the less. Hope the pair finds the perfect "healthy" tree to begin anew.

PENNY...Welcome home....the photos of the Bellagio Botanical are lovely. Later I today I will have time to check out the clips of the movie Jerusalem.

I bought the birdies a new "SPA"...still a white planter dish but larger. I could not get the old spa clean anymore...they seem to enjoy the larger dish, at first a tad reluctant and today 3 House Finchies bathed together this morning. :D The water is about an inch deeper...the Towee really enjoys the deeper water for bathing. The little Yellow Rumped Warbler only takes a drink so far...has not jumped into deeper water yet for a bath.

It's always nerve racking watching blackwater but they seem to have successful hatches. Mom and Dad are currently attending to the eggs. They weren't gone very long. Long enough to get a picture of the eggs. :D

I yearn to go to Vegas. Have not been there is a long time. Spent my honeymoon at the Dunes hotel too long ago to count!

Sandie every year when I go there are huge changes from the year before. The Dunes was imploded to make room for The Bellagio !!!

We saw a show there called 'Vegas The Show' which went back in time to the very beginning of Las Vegas. The stars who performed there and the hotels that used to be. They used vintage films of some of the famous places that were imploded to make room for the monster hotel/casinos of today. You would not even recognize the place  That show was the very first one we ever went to that had 'Showgirls' performing in it. Awesome dancers and costumes and the musical tributes were really great too :)^

Penny I knew the Dunes had been imploded.....wonderful old casino but had to make room for newer and bigger! I read all the responses and everyone had nothing but good to say about it. Sounds like something nice to see. Sigh maybe in this lifetime

Today is National dress up your pet day (gross)!!!

Two men are climbing El Capitan free hand climbing in Yosemite :8O: They have been doing it for 19 days and they hope to get to the top today.

Deb have you had a Bruffin?

Penny: Las Vegas can be fun and the Bellagio is so beautiful.
I loved your story of the 3 girls of different religions speaking together. That's what it's going to take. Start young and learn that we're all just people no matter our color or beliefs.

Lala: I saw your tribute to your mother in the local paper today. You chose such a beautiful picture of her. What an interesting and full life she had and full of love from a large, close family. :Hugs:
I'm glad you can have her with you at home. I have my mother's ashes at home also; I wanted to keep watch over her and couldn't imagine her being anywhere else.
And thanks for posting the pictures of the Casitas eagles fallen nest. They must be so confused. Hope they can build a new one soon nearby. :X:

PENNY  Enjoyed the 7 min. preview of Jerusalem...Beautifully done. :><:

Karen that version of the movie is not the one we saw...the IMAX format is so much more compelling and the narration is done by Cumberbatch instead.

Here is the A Behind-The-Scenes Look at the Making of JERUSALEM (8:00)

This clip shows some of the events in the film and the reasons behind the making of it. The Director Daniel Ferguson is the guy with the long blonde hair :D
