WE 10.17 K01 watches something toward the front for a couple of minutes, then looks to the left and flies off. 10.18 He circles round and round the peaks, K91 calls and trumpets as she lands on the left peak. K01 returns to the nest and goes to work 10.19 Another large bird soars around above and behind the left peak ?? It flies toward the front, K01 tracks and watches it |

WE 10.23 K91 flaps around on the left peak...........she is being dive bombed by that other bird......whatever it is. Not close enough to tell 10.24 Then K91 flies down the left peak and heads to the nest. They begin to move branches around on the nest |

WE 10.46 K91 hops up to the rock, meanwhile, that bird still circles the peaks. K91 turns to face the 5. They both track to the front It looks like another eagle to me 10.27 K91 turns to the left and flies off, K01 tracks her and whatever else is out there |

WE 10.32 A bird flies in from the left rear, high toward the cam, but can't make out what or who it was. K01 tracks still. |

WE 10.35 Bird flies in high from the rear again, just at the edge of the screen. It circles, just getting a glance at the top. K01 tracks 10.36 K01 hops to the rock and flies left, then upward toward the rear and off the screen |

3:01pm Beautiful long view at FP. Overcast and without eagles at WE. Sauces and Two Harbors are minus eagles, too. Caught just some of the early part of K01's first visit to the West End nest this morning; here are my captures...better late than never, I hope... #1 -- 9:27-9:31am ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
