TH - cam at 8:36 AM

Good morning!

The cam starts with the live stream at 8:36, the nest is empty, nice the audio seems to work.

I will recording from this cam, but steps away for preparing the dinner.

SC - Captures from this morning's visit ~ Part 1
Sorry if some are a bit larger than usual.
Notice the discolored spots on both sides of A-48's neck.

K-82 calls out from nearby, from time to time the last 10 minutes.

WE

Perhaps a hawk flew in direction of the left peak and lands later on the small rock. One of the adult eagles flew off from the large peak and to the left of the nest.

WE - cam / 01.18.2017 / Some clips from during today.

From what I can make out in the replay, the pair were on the nest for some time, working away

SC 4.02
Very large storm to hit any minute now. A48 watches left and right

4.06
She turns from the 3 and steps across to the 9 and looks out

4.07
Then turns again and steps to the bowl to pick in the fluff

SC 4.10
A48 tracks something from the right front to the right, then over to the tree. I can hear large wings flying back and forth as A48 tracks

4.11
Then A40 flies in from the left front as A48 tracks him with a large load of fluff. Ravens cawl nearby. A40 begins to spread the fluff as the rain begins to fall.....and they just got it all dried out too

4.12
A48 turns and steps up to the 5 and looks out to the right and front. A40 continues to work.

4.13
A48 turns and flies to the left front, A40 tracks...............cam buffers POOF, A40 disappears as he turned to face the right front

SC - Thanks, Jo, for your commentary on A-40 & A-48's afternoon visit.

I was gone this afternoon, but managed to go back and record it. There was a lot of "poofing" and buffering/freezing, so I'm not gonna try to do a video, but I did take captures off the video to share.
