FP 7.59 Cam pans along the gorge to the V. Then pans up the left bank and to the left past the nest. 8.00 It then pans downward and left of the nest, then nest comes into view. 8.01 It moves back to nest view. 8.02 Cam pans along the gorge and slowly upward. 8.03 It zooms in to the side of the hill, then back down a bit. It zooms in on some blooming coreopsis, then zooms out again. 8.04 It pans the gorge and over to the V again, then zooms in on the sea. 8.06 It begins to pan left, then zooms out to pan the gorge toward the nest. It stops with the long view of the nest. |

SC - And a few of the 'super zoom' and the end.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted by Dr. Sharpe in Chat regarding the beak close up: "Nate wasn't trying to zoom in on the beak for any reason, just trying to learn how to control the camera. It was likely a piece of grass and I've never heard about concerns of her having a cracked beak in previous years. They get blood on their beaks from eating, especially when their prey is not dead yet." |

SC 9.18 From the left front, first A40, then A48, fly in onto the nest. A40 at 1, A48 at 8. Both dig in the nest 9.19 A40 tests out the bowl again, making A48 lose balance. She back up to the 7 and lets him work. Both keep watching all around. |

SC 9.25 A40 pull a branch out at the 12 and moves it to the 10. Cam zooms in. A48 spreads fluff facing the 2. She then moves to the rail and A40 turns to work under her tail, but he watches to the right and rear. 9.26 A40 begins to dig again, but is distracted outward. Cam zooms in on them 9.27 They seem to alert to the right. A48 then turns around, and both dig in the bowl Correction on that dark feather on A48s head, it's just a NuNu |

SC 9.29 A48 remains alert as A40 works at the 12. She scans all around her. 9.30 A48 does a small neck dance. A40 shakes out his feathers. He turns back to the bowl as A48 moves to the 5, then faces rear. 9.31 A48 turns to face front again, she scans all around. A40 watches her. Then A48 flies right, but didn't sound to go very far........she is nearby I think. 9.32 A40 now turns and steps to the 2, he watches and tracks to the right. |
