SC Nest Eggs; Thin eggs shells?

If the SC eggs are breaking so quickly and if it is due to chemical contamination of A-48's food supply affecting her calcium metabolism, can she recover from that, in time, if her food supply changes? Can an individual bird, who has laid thin-shelled eggs, lay good eggs in the future? :X:

DDE will eventually decline in the body if they aren't taking in more in their diet.
