Then you're bad at the tape thing.

I did the tape fix on both of my cymbals and it did wonders.

Rock Band 2 won big time equipmentwise this time around.

Although I guess some would argue that the WT guitar is better. I kind of like the RB2 guitar, though. Not to be confused with the RB1 guitar, which sucked. I still think the GH2 guitar was my favorite, though.

How's the bass pedal btw? Are they sturdy?

ya id have to agree that the GH2 controller was the best by far.

i think that the GH drumset idea was good, with adding two cymbals, but the execution was horrible. it seems like everybody who bought it had a problem with the cymbals or the red drum pad not being sensitive enough. The pedal on it is fine. its metal this time round, so there is less chance of it breaking.

My pedal was not metal, but it works fine.
My cymbals needed tweaking but they work fine now.
My green pad can be a problem, but I'm too lazy to get a torx wrench to do the tape job on the pads.

Uber necro tiem.

RB2 kit pedal is broken (the supposedly more sturdy metal one, though it was the bottom plastic part that snapped, and really the "metal" is just a flimsy faceplate covering the actual plastic pedal), the 2 plastic beams that connect the base are both broken on both ends, and my yellow pad is peeling away. All in time for Rock Band 3.

Makeshift repaired the pedal (found a sturdy metal plate and taped each broken end to it), super glued the beams back together and glued the yellow pad back down. Thrashed on them a bit today. So far it's holding up. It survived Panic Attack, Painkiller, and Desperate Times Desperate Measures. Woo.

Has anyone ever beat Prequel to the Sequel on Expert?
