I heard of a breeder who had a sheltie x sow for sale and she lives in the same town as me, so I phoned her and she said they were keeping the sow now but she had 2 pedigree self-black sows for sale and I could go and look at them if I want. They're only 3 weeks old so I'll have to wait a little while but I don't mind. I'm really excited because I might be able to show her as a pedigree, I was going to show Kiki, my red dutch, but she died before I managed to show her, and apart from Kiki I've always had crossbreeds. I spent ages looking for a guinea-pig when I got Amber and there was a breeder living 5 minutes away from me the whole time

I'll try :) I can't wait to see them and because they're so young at the moment they're going to be tiny. I wonder if I'll be able to hold one? I hope so :)
I'm only getting one but they look exactly the same, except one has one brown hair

Aw. I'm so jealous. I've decided NOT to get one from that lady. I'm far too afraid to have huge vet bills and ect.

Ok, sorry if I scared you a bit, I didn't mean to! I just wanted to warn you that at 2 weeks he may not survive away from his Mum. I held a 2 week old baby yesterday because I'm hoping to buy her when she's 6 weeks old and she is tiny, I don't think a guinea-pig of that size will survive without its Mum.
