okay well see im having trouble with the power management. wen i try to open up "power options" in the "control options" a window pops out saying " To adjust power management settings, close Microsoft Windows XP Power Options and Use TOSHIBA Power Saver. i have no clue how. and i tried looking in the internet about it. but no solutions due to my model of the laptop. there is like no model number on the toshiba website for it. help me out |

go to controll panel and open power options, this should take you to toshibas power controlling software, they dont use the microsoft base software, but rather substitute their own |

um yea bout tht i forgot to mention it doesnt take me to the toshiba power control software. it just opens up the regular power options but its not giving me access to change any options of the power, |

well i dunno cause this laptop has vista and the other is beta windows 7, but when i got into control panel on this (vista) laptop it has an icon called power options then gives the option to do other things so its either going to be power options, or something called toshiba power saver |
